The writing and progression is nicely done. The greatest problem with this story is dialogue. They are just super cringe.

This was a fun Naruto gamer fic and would have enjoyed see what MaxFic had in mind for the next battle. Sadly MaxFic hasn't posted in some time.

I miss this, went for a re-read and noticed a couple inconsistencys like the lack of a kyuubi chakra cloak skill, or how the kyuubi changes his reputations.

I love it a lot. it's so very well written with the perfect balance of humor and grit fun and serious. Yo, small note, I don't think it makes too much sense for Vain to decrease STR, VIT and DEX. A Decrease in reputation gain, or decrease in INT or WIS would make more sense for being vain. A vain person might not be very smart in spending their time or resources, but they won't get any weaker physically because of it. If you mean as in the fact that she would be malnourished from a diet, that should be a separate status effect, being different enough from Vain.

The Third's anger doesn't really make much sense. First off, the chunin exams' first stage had the tenth question specifically to train shinobi to be brave enough to take a mission with very little intel, and to make the right call on the limited information you might have. This is very similar to what happened here, arguably even easier of a call, considering that the chunin which they had beaten were so easily taken down, with no damage at all on their part. Second, if anyone is to blame, it would be Kakashi. Sure, The Genin might be green and not realise the danger they just put themselves in (not saying that Wave was necessarily dangerous), but Kakashi definitely should have (if it was dangerous). Why was The Third not angry at him instead? And to yell at The Genin for the better part of an hour? Bro, you are THE HOKAGE, you have better things to do than to yell at genin for a mistake (which mostly wasn't one) which THE JOUNIN SENSEI made. In my opinion, it's completely out of character for him.
