![]() ![]() ![]() Hey I'm really loving this story I haven't played world of warcraft but I have looked through the lore and I always liked neltherion his story (even though a bit Minimal thanks to blizzard) always intrigued me and finding your stories ignited a fire in me to start trying to make my own wow fanfics and oc's haven't made any fanfics yet to many ideas not enough time to figure them out anyway but I have made characters such as zaltherion (my main personal wow oc) a black dragon who was found first by yogg-saron (the violent prick) and then the blood elves lothermar to more specific anyway I really hope to see more updates especially what you may do with bfa and dragonflies keep up the good work |
![]() ![]() ![]() Like I said before, this series had not just been the best Warcraft fanfics I have ever read, but also the best stories in the entire fanfiction site. Your story made me look Deathwing in a totally different light. Before, I had only known him as an evil dragon who caused the Cataclysm(I didn't even know he was Neltharion). But you have described him as a split personality of Neltharion which was forged by the Old Gods. And gave Neltharion a second chance. That was a brilliant idea, and made his character a lot more interesting. It even made me become interested in Warcraft lore. The description of Neltharion's emotions are so well written, that it had me in tears when I first read this series. The horrible nightmares he had under the Old Gods, the guilt for the destruction he caused as Deathwing, the sadness and grief for the friends and families he lost...all of those emotions were so vividly described. And that was which got me immersed in this series, and made me a fan of it. Another thing I like is that you made Neltharion as a tragic character. Most stories, where a character has a severe trauma, makes the same mistakes; they hear a few encouraging words from another character, and they suddenly return back to normal. But instead, you showed the realistic version of recovery; slow and painful. Neltharion didn't just bounce back immediately. And after all those events, he is still healing. Yet the world keeps throwing hardships to him. He makes poor decisions, suffers new losses, and constantly blames himself for everything. But all those hardships makes me emphasize with him, and eventually makes me keep reading the story. And you gave him a few snippets of happiness; removing most of his armor and regrowing his beard (by the way, giving him a beard was a great idea!), getting new friends and colleagues, regaining trust and respect from the shamans, getting a part of the Black Dragonflight back together, and so more. This balance between tragedy and comedy makes me love this series. The relationship between Neltharion and the other characters was great. Describing the Dragon Aspects as siblings was a good idea. It showed their bonds with each other, and made the Neltharion's fall into a more tragic event. And it gave each of the Aspects a unique character. With Ysera as the lovely little sister, Nozdormu as the older brother who's not exactly social, and Alextrasza as the sister who acts like a mother hen. Seeing Neltharion interact with each of them was great to read. But the best relationship between the aspects was with Malygos. Even though it was mentioned that they were close in the lore, you have expanded this deeper. The brotherly love they showed to each other was beautifully written (like this chapter, where Malygos risks his life to go to his brother). And even more, you expanded this relationship to the entire Blue and Black Dragonflight. Reading the past, when the two flights interacted freely, was heartwarming yet sad. Since those days are long gone now. Which is why his relationship with Kalecgos is important, because it might be the key to solve the wide gap between the two flights. Having Thrall to save Neltharion and befriend him was a good idea, since he's the one who had briefly connected with him. Even though their current relationship is quite shaky, I like that he still care for Neltharion. And the other shamans calling Neltharion the Worldmender and respecting him was also good. Neltharion's Black Dragonflight was fun to watch. From Serinar's light and playful talking, Ruthian's serious atmosphere, to Siderion awkwardly calling Nel 'grandfather'. It really looked like a family Neltharion needed. And Neltharion trying and wanting to protect them was heartwarming. Since this story was dormant for quite a time, I was worried that this fanfic might have been abandoned. So I truly am grateful for the continuation of this wonderful story. Again, thank you for this piece of art. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Been a while since the last chapter, but very happy to see this story getting an update :D Really curious to see how this story would change Dragonflight and what Neltharion's reaction would be regarding the Dracthyr. Eagerly waiting for more! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Totally unexpected yet I appreciate this update even more than I would have thought :D Since Dragonflight I got my love back for wow dragons that I lost a long time ago. |
![]() ![]() ![]() With the destruction of the Jade Serpent statue, it almost seems like Yu'lon is being situated for rebirth into the (still intact) body of Sintharia... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Comienza interesante el fic |
![]() ![]() Nice series, wish you good progress on your current chapter |
![]() ![]() ![]() Is this your last book? In the series I mean? I really love it, and I don’t want it to end! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Please continue this fantastic series :) |
![]() ![]() I know it hasnt been updated in a year, but this story of neltharion’s redemption has made me fall in love with its characters over its numerous parts. Even though you have an mmo to fall back on, the story telling to create this universe has made me enjoy every chapter you have written. I only hope you continue. |
![]() ![]() To the guy named Johnny. You do realize that she just posted up chapter 21, right? And if you are following her on DA, you would see journals on what she plans on doing with the story itself. You can even provide her with feedback on what you think the story should go. Asking her to continue the story isn't going to get it written faster. As she has said many times, she also uses an editor who also takes care into making sure things are polished. Which is a plus for us and her. Just give a review to the story rather than begging her to continue. Also, CII. Excellent chapter. |
![]() ![]() The wait was worth it. And I love the new character Senegos you added! And...please, don't kill off Malygos. |
![]() ![]() Please continue the story I like it please give more adventures and actions of neltharion the earth warder |
![]() ![]() This is getting good! Also, I'm glad that you're focusing more on Malygos. He needs a lot of love. And I really am liking Senegos. But I have a question. Will Azuregos ever show up too? I'd love to see him in the story soon! |
![]() ![]() ![]() YES ITS BACK OH LORD ALL MIGHTY IM HAPPY WELL DONE AUTHOR GREAT CHAPTER |
