| Rachel chapter 4 . 6/19/2016
Well put together. You managed to find a way to bridge Isabelle and Harriet Jones that wasn't incedibly cheesy, which is always a huge plus in crossovers. Made me laugh a few times to boot.

This was good! Thank you for sharing.

I am not acquainted with Doctor Who, but if in Canon he is like in this story, he seems a complete jerk. I do love fics where Matthew survives, though, so thank you. Going to read the sequel now.
| Rachel Smith Cobleigh chapter 1 . 3/6/2015
Great insight into the essential sadness and failing of the Doctor's character, with his inability to forgive Harriet, particularly contrasted with Matthew's willingness—almost need—to forgive. And I love how you leave the ending a mystery, the story of how Harriet came to end up in the 1800s with Reginald, and how the Doctor came to be able to forgive.
This is a fully in-character crossover between two totally unlikely fandoms, with tension and drama and resolution, and even philosophical depth.
Genius. I loved it from beginning to end!

This story is surprisingly good! I'm a fan of Downton Abbey and have dabbled with Doctor Who a little bit, but I haven't delved into fanfiction for either, so imagine my surprise to see this unusual crossover. You've melded these two seemingly incompatible series together very well and I'm looking forward to the conclusion. Thanks for sharing!

Great story. I've followed you since I read Going Native. You're one of the best crossover writers I've seen, because you pay attention to the details in both worlds. Is this chapter the last, or will we find out when Harriet becomes Isobel?
| RandomW chapter 1 . 8/9/2014
Fantastic, can't wait for more.
