In all honesty this was a much better story than I was expecting. I first found it on AO3 and according to your authors note it's an awful thing due peer pressure. I hate that the toxic nature of several members of the fanfiction community caused you to change the direction you were originally going to take this. However I enjoyed how you wrote Hadrian and how the canon events differed from the original. Personally I would enjoy seeing a rewrite of this where Harry used his creature abilities more. It seemed that the only one he actively used was the flame travel, and there were lots of offensive possibilities with his others. However this is your story and you should write however makes you happy. Ignore the idiots.

I’ve had this downloaded to read for a while now and I’m STILL debating whether I want to read it or at least skim it, because of the warnings in the description and some of the spoilers in the reviews. It seems like it would be angsty and I very rarely want to read something that’s likely to make me cry, because I’ll have to keep taking my glasses on and off.

I agree with you whole heartedly. Being a writer myself, I know hard it is to spend literally hours thinking of the plot and how proceed, while also being careful to not leave any plot holes and cliffhangers at the end. Then readers just Co.e up and say "I thought I'd find a good story, but just shot. Not even worth reading". Kinda kills the enthusiasm
