good story

These stories need more tornado destruction! None of these 'Into the Storm' stories have any destruction, which defeats the purpose of the title. Good love story though.

I'd like to think they got together too. Great job with story!

OHMIGOD thank you for writing this. This is a very well writte story, and just what I needed after watching the movie. I think all the Fangirls out there who watched ITS subconsciously ship Gary/Allison. I know I do. Please continue!

I just watched this movie on HBO was really liked it and I could see a lot of potential between Gary and Alison. I would love to read more if you ever decide to write again!

I must admit, I have not yet decided wether I am going to watch the movie or not. But after reading your story, I think I will.
The story is very well written and even without having seen the movie I can imagine Gary very vividly, his body language, his gestures, the way he speaks ("His large frame was calm and relaxed beside her, and he still was smiling...There was an unexspected vulnerability in his eyes...").
Your way of story-telling and your choice of words create a special atmosphere, which is very touching and conveys much about Garys and Allisons feelings. Even I can sense this, although I know next to nothing about the movie.

So I want to tell you, this story is a little treasure and a real pleasure to read. I wanna say thank you for sharing your inspiration with us. And thank you to Mr Armitage for his throwaway comment.

That was really good... I was really surprised that there was an Into the Storm fic already but this is just great - quite a realistic future for the characters as well...

Oh, excellent job! I loved the movie ... not just because of the incredible Richard Armitage, but because of the respect shown by the story and the many ordinary heroes we saw.

I was happy to find this story as I enjoyed ITS this weekend (I've been a huge RA fan for years) and I didn't quite want to leave the story yet. I didn't think there would be any ITS fanfic yet, so I was pleasantly surprised :)

I liked getting the view into how the town and characters are healing, while also still struggling with the horrors of that day. I also loved the mention of Trey's humor bringing a lightness to the documentary, which is something I noticed while watching the movie.

You mentioned this story was inspired by a throwaway comment Richard made. What was the comment?
