Some holes in the plot, if the academy is three years and learning unless knowledge as history then civilian recruits won't make the cut to be ninja as they will need all the time to train ninja skills unless this academy version didn't lower the difficulty of training as Minato is still hokage.

Pretty good story but the end is a bit dissapointing, a few storylines went nowhere like them investigating if the villagers actually beat him, and the climax you see noones reactions to which is kinda blue-balling. But then again its abandoned so I guess all the storylines went nowhere...
