You know honestly speaking I never liked the idea of multipliers for Super Saiyan. It really doesn't fit with how strong their base gets later on.

Bringer of Death seems to have the best power level system.

It's actually "Over 8000!" So it could also be Over 9000, though it's probably somwehere between 800 and 9000 (otherwise the line would be "Over 9000" as in the dub).

That means Goku's power level isn't actually 8000 precisely, but 8000, maybe even 8001, like the abridged series implies (lol). It's probably higher, though, something like 8200 or 8400 or 8700. Not too high, though, like 8800 or 8900, or Nappa would probably have said "It's almost 9000!")

Also, it shouldn't keep them from the planet by deleting the reference, unless he was able to hack into the main database and delete it from there. But even there, it would probably be noticed by the programmers in charge of administering the system and they'd probably have backups or undo options ready. And even if not, you would think it would catalogued by number (for example, E208, between E207 and E209), so only one entry going missing from the catalogue, then it would be pretty suspicious, especially if investigators where sent to the terminal and outpost Bardock was at and found the works there pretty much all dead or missing, even if deleted from the main database and with no backups. It would probably draw more attention to the planet by deleting only its 1 catalogue entry from the database instead of deleting a whole bunch of them.

I mean, canonically, Earth isn't even noticed until Raditz is sent there, so it's not very high priority. And even then, it mainly seems to be more Raditz's personal mission to find his brother than a World Trade Organization priority.

So deleting Earth's entry would probably only draw more attention that specific planet than anything lmao.

You're forgetting something.

Yeah Buu absorbed the GrandKaioshin, but he also absorbed the South Kaioshin which was the strongest of the 4 Kais.

When he was transforming, it is true that the GrandKaioshin's influence was dissapearing hence making Buu stronger. BUT after that Buu was becoming Buff Buu, which was the form he took after absorbing the SOUTH Kaioshin back in the day. (Both Kaioshins were in Fat Buu by the way) Right after that, he lost South Kaioshin's power too and turned Small Buu. Pure Buu. Nothing absorbed.
So overall, in your words Kid Buu gained power to be Super Buu tier but then lost power and became Fat Buu tier.

I mean, Goku wouldn't even wanna fight Super Buu without fusing with Vegeta. If Kid Buu was on the same level, why would Goku want to fight him?

By proxy, that makes Ultimate Gohan stronger than Kid Buu since he was turning Super Buu's ass inside out.

Also, heavily agree with your line about Ssjg being tons stronger than Ssj3. Author power scales one movie and thinks it's the definitive scaling for the whole series. How one-track minded. (On these chapters, anyway...)

Vegeta killing Semi-Perfect Cell I would say wouldn't hinder achieving Ssj2 since Goku clearly knows there's something more to unlock than Ssj1. I mean, 7 years of peace and Vegeta still did it. Goku would probably be the first to unlock it then Vegeta rushing over to be on par. There's no increase of power all throughout the Cell Games so they could quickly catch up to their canon counterparts, except for Goku, he's weaker.

The Buu saga is very easily avoided with Goku alive in the first place because no Majin Vegeta. Though someone else could get possessed as it is a narrative tool. Goku may or may not get Ssj3, if there is though it's gotta be optimised as hell (weaker ssj3?) or practically a last resort.
