I love the idea of a magical Petunia... and out of phase dampening rods... I'm betting Evil Dumbledore?

Been glancing at some of the stories under your name, and they've been fairly enjoyable, but perhaps a little over-wild (in many cases far too many crossovers just for the sake of having crossovers), but I have to say that this story is one of the most unique and interesting ones I've come across in a long time. Wait why would they do this before the first task that seems a bit insane maybe after just incase there is any lingering side effects. Does no one in the room think maybe waiting would be a good idea?

This was indeed such a fun ride. And the concepts were interesting & refreshing. At some point it felt a bit overwhelming, especially the Fight for Hogwarts part where it felt a bit too fast paced compared to the rest of the fic. I get that it's the climax but I felt like there were too many things happening at once & the converging of numerous characters was a bit hazy fast, although that might have been just my reading pace. I was a bit confused how Peter & Voldie could have been found out at Little Hangleton in the end, and unless I was reading too fast, what about the locket in Grimmauld Place? And Salazar's portrait was a bit under utilized, I think? Unless I entirely missed the point of him being introduced in the plot.

However, for wanting to provide different points of view, something that I wish JKR did with the books, you covered all the bases pretty well. Some parts have too much unnecessary details that I felt they dragged a scene too long, but I guess it's really up to you how you want to build & paint the world here. It definitely showed how dedicated you are to details. You also managed to give redemption & development to characters, as far as some characters can be redempted & improved. As for Dumbledore, I really couldn't care less what happened to him in the end, I'm finding it hard to read fics that don't make him answer to his manipulative & sometimes damning actions & inactions. I read the books as a kid & I thought the world of his character, so all these fanfics just made me realize how unhealthy it is to have someone like him in your life. I get that one person can only do so much, and he has been taking on more tasks than anyone at his age should, but it's still his fault for being so proud as to not share the burden. It was really rather unfair of him to expect the same from Harry, and let him die for the Greater Good, when Ariana, his own sister, was also not given a choice for her own life.

Anyway, thank you so much for writing this. The concepts, and what happened to the task & the Yule Ball were all very ingenous. And now I'm off hunting more for good Dursley (at least Petunia & Dudley) harmony fics.

About that Authors note of yours on chapter 19.

I find it horrifying how you are defending and apologizing for Adolf Hitler's behavior. Broke treaties with *everyone* for personal gain. Stole from the wealthy jews, and...
Oh, excuse me, you were talking about Dumbledore. Good grief! I can understand someone defending Hitler's atrocities, but you are defending *Dumbledore's* atrocities!? wow. I did not think anyone could sink that low.

Let's recap what you just wrote there:
Dumbledore:
1) Condemned both the Potter an Longbottom families to death, deliberately. MAkign sure that the world's #2 terrorist(just behind dumbledore himself) gets a personal traitor dedicated to the falies' demise, voucher for by Dumbledore.
2) Rewarded the person who set Voldemort onto them with an undeserved, unqualified, lifelong tenured professorship, so he can cater to his hatred of dunderheads and ruin the careers of generations of schoolchildren.
3) *kidnapped* Harry, Blocked his inheritance, Forged ownership papers for him, then abandoned him with the Dursleys.
4) The same dursleys who were being mind-raped with illegal control rods into imbecility, and directed to misbehavior towards Harry.
5) Did the same rods for Harry. Got to make sure the kid is weak, miserable, and unable to think for himself, right?
6) Knowingly sentenced Sirius to lifelong imprisonment in Dante's Inferno, erm, Azkaban, where he gets tortured on a daily basis.
7) Oh by the way, the stolen & enslaved & mindraped orphan Harry will be scheduled to die, so dumbledore might as well STEAL his inheritance and spend it on his own personal "boys' club", and on bribing and corrupting the Justice System of his world. While at it, also steal his Deathly Hallow Artifact Cloak.
8) while he finds himself the owner of a handy slave, why not sell him in an unwanted, unannounced, illegal sex-slave contract? Or what else would you cal a betrothal agreement with a stranger, the agreement being kept secret, and authorized by the person that *kidnaped* Harry?

Srsly? Ron bashing? Look, yes i am a r/hr shipper and hate h/hr, but why do u need to make ur ship seem more eligible, by bashing the character that the people in ur ship were canonically married/ best friends with? c'mon man!
