It's only the first chapter and you've already managed to introduce Luna, give Petunia magical abilities, and mention the Horcrux inside Harry... I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
I'm not too happy at the thought of H/Hr, but overall it's a very interesting start.

Of course McGonagall would forget what her most beloved lions did to Severus while he was in school. Unbelievable, I mean really, could you get more cliched. Lets all heap everything on Snape, McGonagall isn't innocent herself you know, what about her lack of attention, or blatant favoritism.

I'm half hoping that dumbledore turns out to be gridelwald, or that he the master manipulator is himself a puppet and is covered in the little rods.

Maybe even that petunia has some imbedded in her too but that the ambient magic or some founders connection to hogwarts boosted her site , allthough I'm not sure if I'd want to see Vermont and Dudley redeemed.

Now this is interesting ... who could have thought that Luna Lovegood and Aunt Petunia would have something in common? And that something far back in history (Grindelwald) would suddenly show up in the (modern) "Savior of the Wizarding World"?

Makes one wonder ... would Aunt Petunia find something similar in Dudley? Has something been done to Vernon? And how could whatever it is that was blocking Petunia's "Sight" (if that's what it is) could have been removed the moment she stepped into Hogwarts' grounds?

First thought ... blame Dumbledore. The usual suspect whenever something goes wrong with Harry ... plus the fact that this was something *Grindelwald* created. Could this be something that dear old Albus worked on with his lover before they had a falling out?

A hundred conspiracy theories suddenly spring out - as bad as an infestation of nargles.

Whoa! That was one of a helluva first chapter! I love the idea of Dursleys coming to Hogwarts and proactive McGonagall and Luna. And this all is quite original and I can't wait for next update!
