Nice start. I usually avoid bashing of any character, but I more than understand why Harry is talking the way he at the same time he acts very very Griffindor-like, that's a neat trick. I wish we knew more about his time with Gellert, so I might just go on and focus on the flashbacks.

I suspect, based on your bio, you'll enjoy this review. In short - I really enjoyed this story, and I don't typically care for Harry and Ginny. You seemed to express surprise on your profile that there are people out there who seem to like your H/G who don't typically like the subgenre, but I think that's entirely because your Ginny is far more interesting, developed, challenging, and intelligent than the Ginny that's portrayed in the books. You did an excellent job creating rich characters, even if your characterizations are different from much of fanon. All in all, I can't wait to read more of your writing.

I admit, I usually don't get excited about the Dark Harry stories. This one was well written and it is one of the ones that make me think that Dumbledore deserves a lot of bad things to happen to him.

And I like what does happen to him in this story.

This fic contains not a single good person in it. It contains rampant sexism, bigotry, violence, manipulation, etc. It’s amazing! I love stories like this. No one is out for anyone but themselves and theirs. You displayed an extremely poignant example of what happens when people are like this, as they usually are, and I love it!

Harry's casual sexual assault of Tonks in this chapter was the point where I decided to drop this story. This fic did not age well... not that that kind of behavior was ever acceptable. It's pretty hard to side with a main character who acts like that, and isn't a promising sign of how the character (and author?) views women.

I actually really like the ending. I have thought 'why doesn't he just leave!' in other stories and it never really happens so I think this was great! Overall I think this is a really well written and compelling story, you did an amazing job!
