TheWateringWizard chapter 6 . 3/1/2017 I love the way you add memories from the last at the beginning of each chapter! The first one, with Bellatrix scared me so much! Did she cut his big or small toe? I totally understand when you say it's everyone's fear to be crippled. That's why this dream scared me so much. |
TheWateringWizard chapter 5 . 3/1/2017 Wow Harry sure knows how to kick shit up! |
TheWateringWizard chapter 3 . 3/1/2017 Well holy cow did I adore this beating! It was amazing! And indeed things seem a lot darker! Ginny, what a blunder you have made! Harry really had a sad life... It must be crushing that his guardians died and his girlfriend too. I'll take pleasure in seeing him gut that pig Malfoy |
TheWateringWizard chapter 2 . 3/1/2017 Well Ginny will be hard to break through! As much as it pains me, it makes the first kiss all that much worth while! |
TheWateringWizard chapter 1 . 3/1/2017 Ahhh that's a great beginning! I can't wait to see Ginny introduced! I hope she won't be mean to Harry |
Samos39 chapter 17 . 2/7/2017 A logical end I find, why fight for assholes who put you 10 years in a closet and 7 years in danger of imminent death, not to mention calumnies of the press ... For me in the book it is a pig for the abbey ... Good job! |
The Seven of Us chapter 17 . 2/5/2017 I'm not actually certain what I want to say in response to this story. I like it and I don't at the same time, and it's pretty frustrating. I like the realism in the story, especially since you kept Harry fairly in-character despite him being in Slytherin for what, six months? I like the development of Ginerva to Ginny, and I loved the sudden, humbling realization that Harry had in this last chapter. At the same time, I don't like how you somehow kept Harry in-character and yet a killer. It kind of gives me a whiplash. Granted, I don't have experience, and I don't plan on having the experience of killing someone, but it still strikes me as wrong, and I don't mean in a moral sense. Quite honestly, Harry comes across as sarcastic and even cheerful at times, determined in others, but it wasn't really until the last three chapters or so that he became grim, which is what I associate with some characters who kill regularly. (See: Batman.) I was also disappointed that Harry didn't finish the job after he worked so hard to get this far, but that humbling realization in this chapter is probably the best part of this book because it was so /realistic/ that I loved it. Anyway. Bit of a long review, but I know that I love long reviews, so here you go. -Ruby |
Hippothestrowl chapter 17 . 2/2/2017 Excellent story well written and very readable. Good ending and serves them right! I was already thinking there might be some similar to-hell-with-them-all ending with Voldemort holding the entire Ministry and/or Hogwarts to ransom unless Harry agreed to duel him. Now they all beg Harry to champion them as Voldemort begins torturing and killing one hostage a minute but Harry just grins and says no. People eh? Who needs 'em? - Hip |
Guest chapter 17 . 1/27/2017 A very well written story. Thanks for writing. |
mjohnsonco chapter 1 . 1/29/2017 I thought the story was well written and made for an enjoyable read. I liked your use of writing in differing timelines as you told the main story and the back story concurrently. I think it's a difficult technique to achieve, but I thought you pulled it off well. Really, my only complaint is the ending. There was so much detail to the story that the ending felt rushed. To me, it felt like you were tired of writing the story and wanted to finish it off quickly. A couple more chapters closing off the loose ends would have been nice and would be my only suggestion if you were to ever edit it. That being said, I thought it was an excellent story and I enjoyed reading it. Thank you! |
mckertis chapter 2 . 12/20/2016 What the heck is a "severe ponytail" ? Does it have teeth and a permanent scowl ? Scars all over ? |
Scabbers1957 chapter 17 . 12/13/2016 While I'm not a big Harry/Ginny shipper, this was a very well thought out and written story. It's nice to see the usual good guys being the baddies for a change. The fates of the other characters was well done as well and the eventual fate of British wizard society was well done as well. I'll add this gem to my story favorites. Very well done by the way. :)) |
ProfessorPedant chapter 17 . 12/7/2016 Quite the fun story and I am not an H/G fan but even that did not stop me from enjoying it. I have often thought the canon Ministry was not worth saving. Your version was worse. I liked how you went against type with several characters departing from their fanon norms. Now to see what else you have written. |
Gellert99 chapter 17 . 12/6/2016 This was a brilliantly written, captivating story. I loved it. The end was a bit special, but it fitted very well considering what happened to Harry and Ginny in the course of the story. The icing on the cake, of course, was that even I once had a fairly good role to play. But please never call me Gelli again, lol. Oh, and by the way, tricking the Muggle Yank's with magic is a splendid business idea, it’s very Slytherin. |
Guest chapter 13 . 11/15/2016 Well, this is going downhill in quality pretty rapidly now. Of course, the whole squicky wolf sex thing made it glaringly apparent that the fic was heading from well-planned-out-plot to pointless smut, but I'd hoped to be able to slog through it to get to the point. Next chapter's naughty warning had me hitting the back button to write this now, as if it's just smut from here on out i'll likely be exiting the story. Interesting concept, but I like my smut reading and my HP Fic reading to be worlds apart, and any sort of Venn diagram overlapping if the two tends to kill my interest pretty fast. I liked it a LOT before the H/G really started (a couple chapters before the um, wolf-sex-thing that is now forever scarred into my visual-imagery-driven brain) so there's that I suppose. Gellert's more than a tad unbelievable even early on, though. |
