Im currently going thru a daphne and niles craze and need fanfiction to fill the void that the tv show leaves me with and I ABSOLUTLEY love this AU version of an after 'Moon Dance' experience. I could picture every moment with your descriptions and I love the Third-person view point that you write in.
I wish there was a scene like this in the tv show but I love imagining it in my own head. great job.

I did enjoy this very much. There can never be too many "Moon Dance" stories, and you may have given me an idea for yet another one! I kept wondering if you were going to have N/D get together or not, but I'm so glad you at least had Daphne realize she has some sort of feeling for him, even if she wants Niles to give his marriage one more shot. This is absolutely beautiful and as I was reading I could just envision it in my mind. So romantic and sweet but not overly so and very true to life, if this were to have happened on the show. "Moondance" is one of my all-time favorite episodes as well and I remember the first time I saw it I could not believe they ended it the way they did. I wanted to hug Niles so badly. This is one of those episodes that can never have too many stories written about it and even I have written more than one. However, this is a scenario that I hadn't quite imagined and yet can see this happening easily. Now that my endless gushing over your story is complete, welcome to the Frasier board and it's always so wonderful to find new writers. I hope that as you progress through the series, you'll be inspired to write even more wonderful stories such as this one!

This is such a sweet story! I think you've maintained the character's personalities really well and I was glad that they didn't end up together here, but that the hope remained. Well done and I hope to read more of your Niles/Daphne stories in the future!
