   jon reeve chapter 11 . 10/17/2019 /Y'know what I'd like to see? A fic where Harry actually proposes to her with a bookstore. Hmm, it's probably been done. /This was cute. I think it is interesting that no one is commenting on his wealth. No sneaky selfish thoughts from the squatter that he then hired for his shop. Doesn't mean she didn't have them, but it was a nice change from the constant references to his wealth that abound in fics like this. Though, it may be warranted here, with him being as wealthy as described. Also, I suppose it is odd to jot hear it once, but since it's mostly from Harry's pov, it's not unreasonable. |

If this is AU /on that aspect it's fine, but there is no support, as far as I am aware, for such a statement. /This is an example of a problem I see sometimes in fics where the writers don't seem to think of the ramifications of the things that they make up or the details that they change. /There are a number of explanations that I can think of to support such a statement; the easiest being that the goblin was only talking about the "wizarding world" in London, as that's what's pertinent to Harry's current business idea. If that's not the case, then I look forward to the revelation of a cultural explanation for no used bookstores. Somewhat pompously, Reeve. |

Sure its in the magical world, and 'easily' fixable with an overnight stay in the hospital. But really. What would happen to a teacher at a muggle school, if he so injured a student as to require an overnight stay in the hospital? Especially when the teacher was acting against the *very* explicit resistance of the student, and in a capacity and location where the teacher has no authority whatsoever? I'll tell you. The teacher would be instantaneously suspended pending hearing, and would be invited down to the local police station. Very possibly for a permanent stay until said hearing occurred. And the school for be sued for *millions* |
