It's unbelievably unrealistic to believe the former magical guardian would not be notified even in the case of the legal process of changing guardians being applied for. Everything else after was just as contrived and story is so good except when it seems as if it hasn't been smell-checked. Just too much convenient stupidity. But beyond the pale is Harry saying he can't afford to buy mature mandrakes from outside of Britain. Not even worth the time to keyboard how many ways that is ridiculous.I look forward to another GOOD chapter now.

I like it anytime Sirius is freed but I HATE the convenient stupidly plot point of Amelia NOT giving Peter veratiserum when she knew she was going to ask Peter those last two questions. Especially ridiculous given suspected death eaters always get veratiserum in the years following Harry's return to the magical world.

I liked this story, but I did have a problem with Dobby disappearing from the story as soon as Harry freed him.
I realize that Dobby may be too good of a bodyguard for your way of getting Harry into the COS to work, but Dobby risked a lot to protect Harry (in his strange Dobby way) while still owned by the Malfoys. I doesn't make any sense to me that he would leave Master Harry Potter Sir to be target practice for the entire student body after being freed or that Harry wouldn't call him to check and see how he is doing.
"Where's Dobby?" was a major distraction for me during the Christmas Holiday when the 3 Bachelors could have used some elf help and the stretch towards the end when Harry needed another loyal friend and more protection in the castle.

I'm impressed by that little moment about taking away the staff. It's shown like any other thing that Dumbledore would do in the cannon, and yet there's something to it that screams a wrongdoing

/I know some other have mentioned aimilar things inreviews, like when you confused numbers 93 and 95 in diagon alley, earlier. Instead of comparing 93 to 95, you compared 93 to 93, I think it was.

/Your work is somewhat peppered with mistakes like that. They are relatively minor, but one or two words can have a drastic effect on a statement or description. Especially when you consider the wordplay that some people are prone to use.
