dazzled eyes22 chapter 43 . 11/28/2023 Thanks for sharing this story. I’m glad Edward, Bella, and Tyler got their happily ever after and the family they deserved. I love that Edward adopted Ty after that beautiful wedding, so they’re all Cullens. It was lovely to see the extended family gathering together to celebrate Esme’s birthday. |
dazzled eyes22 chapter 42 . 11/27/2023 What a lovely proposal and on the ground that meant so much to the family. I like how Charlie surprised his daughter and grandson. Edward really thought of everything. It was so thoughtful that he offered Tyler an engagement gift that tied him to Jake’s legacy. Rex is the perfect name for the newest member of their family. |
dazzled eyes22 chapter 41 . 11/27/2023 Ah, the secret trip to Forks…I guess it’s about that time, eh? I can see we’re wrapping up storylines. But I don’t want the story to end yet. My favorite part by far was Tyler calling Edward dad so casually and Edward’s surprised reaction. It was something that I didn’t even expect to mean so much. It was so great to see Edward so flustered that he needed to clarify with Bella what Ty said before responding to his son. It put a title to what we already knew. That’s his boy. What’s cute is that Ty doesn’t have any idea how much that meant to him. Thanks for Esme’s emotional response to hearing it for the first time. |
dazzled eyes22 chapter 40 . 11/26/2023 It's quite lovely to hear Edward expound about his beautiful life with his new family. He doesn't even care about the floral scent everywhere or Bella's papers spread out in the lounge. I enjoyed the shaving scene and how that led to a passionate Saturday morning. It's so adorable they found Bartholomew in the fridge, legos in the dishwasher, and little finger-shaped dents in the peanut butter. Tyler also found a way to use all the bathrooms in the house. LOL. |
dazzled eyes22 chapter 39 . 11/26/2023 Aww, Edward should’ve known how good Tyler’s hearing is by now. I was glad that he realized how wrong his description was right after he said it, but he broke the little dude’s heart. Plus, he is HIS Tyler. It’s great that this young boy has no problem being frank and direct with him. I loved how Edward sat him on his lap on the park bench and explained how he felt about him. Tyler’s reaction was awesome. Oh, poor Bella! I can understand her panic about Edward being late and possibly being in an accident after what happened with Jake. Wow! Renee needs to slow her roll. Bella and Edward just moved in together. Stop pushing the new couple to consider marriage and having children. They have time. |
dazzled eyes22 chapter 38 . 11/25/2023 I’m glad Garrett and Emmett bonded when moving Bella and Tyler’s belongings into Edward’s home. I worry even more about Bella if her nightmares were so intense that the police were regularly called. Someone should have recommended talking to a professional. I liked Edward and Garrett’s discussion and the trust he bestowed in him to take care of his cousin and her son. It was sweet how Garrett reassured Tyler that he will still be in their lives. They just relocated to a new address. |
dazzled eyes22 chapter 37 . 11/23/2023 It was entertaining watching Edward’s family react to his happy news with Bella and Tyler. Oh, that little boy! Edward is going to have to be more careful with him around. Welcome to parenthood. Ha! Ha! Love how Bella responded using her nonsense Mom voice rather than dropping down the embarrassing rabbit hole of correcting the logic of his comments. Emmett was in rare form welcoming Bella into the family with the story of how Alice met her husband and comparing it to how she met his brother. Quite hilarious. |
dazzled eyes22 chapter 36 . 11/20/2023 That was lovely. Thanks for the glimpse into Edward’s relationship with Alice. I loved Bella and Tyler’s reaction to the mural and his home. I’m happy that they chose to move in with Ewood. |
dazzled eyes22 chapter 35 . 11/19/2023 Tyler's fish story was hilarious. I don't think Charlie will be wanting to fish with his grandson anytime soon. It was so realistic that he got bored after they set Fred free and didn't want to eat any friend of his fish for lunch. I'm still laughing at that. I hope Charlie comes to visit more often. It would be nice to see this Sue too. I look forward to Bella and Tyler visiting Edward's house to see if they would want to move there. |
dazzled eyes22 chapter 34 . 11/19/2023 Edward’s morning visit to Jake’s grave showed even more what a good man he was. I like that he wanted to do this and without any acknowledgment. I enjoyed how that one-on-one between Charlie and Edward went. It’s really sweet when a father can simply acknowledge how precious it is to see his daughter and grandson so happy and give credit when it’s due. Nice touch that Edward defended Bella being perfectly capable of taking care of herself and Tyler and not needing any financial assistance from him, yet reassuring her dad that should something occur, he could take care of them. Truly appreciated the discussion happening without the stereotypical threats that make getting along almost impossible. The confrontation with Billy was the most anticipated moment of this chapter and what Bella needed to truly move on. I was disappointed that Billy left the message with Charlie rather than make the effort to contact her directly. Yeah, it gave Bella the power to decide whether or not to see him before leaving town, but it took something away from the gesture. Hmm…I was expecting some growth and apology for his part in pushing her away and blaming her for his son’s death. I didn’t feel that. Instead, he was still a cantankerous self-loathing old man set in his beliefs. How frustrating! Bella had to do all the bending and heavy lifting to forgive him. He should have had to earn that and the chance to see his grandson after the pain he put her through. I loved that Edward was out that door and by her side when Billy raised his voice to her. He gave the old man a piece of his mind. Tyler was so precious in asking if having two grandfathers meant he could have two dads. Love that the kid’s focus hasn’t changed. |
dazzled eyes22 chapter 33 . 11/18/2023 I have enjoyed their trip to Forks so far. Edward and Tyler had some great bonding scenes loading the car and as he put the little boy to bed. I like that Edward drove them to Jake's grave. I was surprised they didn't run into Billy between there and when they went to the diner afterwards. It was so funny how clumsily Edward asked Bella to move in with him. Charlie let Edward stay in the spare bedroom with Bella and Tyler, so he must not feel too poorly about him. The fishing trip should allow the men to bond. |
dazzled eyes22 chapter 32 . 11/15/2023 Oh wow! Ty let the cat out of the bag before his mom could tell Gramps. Good thing Bella and Edward were already planning the visit to Forks. I like that this has become a road trip. Hopefully, Charlie will give Edward the benefit of the doubt when they meet. |
dazzled eyes22 chapter 31 . 11/14/2023 Bella needs to deal with her issues with Jake. She’s hurting her son and worrying her boyfriend. It’s good that Ty was able to tell Edward how it felt with him not being there and what his mom went through. Hopefully, Edward can take some of the stress off the little guy. Ugh! That lemon was not romantic. Maybe visiting Forks will give Bella a chance to celebrate the good and say goodbye to Jake. She never had the chance to say truly deal with what happened. She had a baby to raise. Edward will also get to see those dear to her and Ty. |
Ama VG chapter 43 . 11/13/2023 A very well written story. Loved it! The biggest thing i loved js the fact that edward doesn’t immediatly says a kid oke lets donit. But really struggles. Like in real life. |
dazzled eyes22 chapter 30 . 11/13/2023 I’m glad that Tyler feels safe confiding his fears to Edward, but Bella needs to be more careful when his little ears are near. Her little boy shouldn’t be shielding his fears from his mom because he’s worried how she’ll react. I like that he’s trusting that Edward will help keep him safe and his mother happy. Bella giving Edward a key to the house was a big step in their relationship. So was Edward helping through Tyler’s illness. Edward saw the signs and moved him quickly to the bathroom before he barfed on the floor. I liked that he stayed the night to make sure both Bella and Ty were okay and missed them when he went home. |
