I just reread both Cold North Wind and this story, and they are absolutely incredible. Just as I remembered. The way you develop Valka's return and her relationship with Hiccup and Astrid is so natural, real and amazing. Even though Valka is a huge part of this story, the Hiccstrid in it is one of the best I've ever read. I am in love with this all over again:-)

Even after all this time this is a wonderful story. Astrid and valkas perspectives are spot on and its incredible how they find balance with each other thruogj your writing. Thanks so much for writing this.

I wish we could of heard the story or seen a Short fic about Gobber catching them fucking

Interesting story

This is great. Really. It was very touching when Astrid talked about second chance.

I never watched part 2 because part 1 was too awesome and I was afraid the part two would destroy the image I had. I watched the two movies. And awesome. And your writing had always been great. The perspective on the characters is great. Hahaha. Val is great and so is Astrid.

Great fic! I loved how you did a gradual progression in the timeline. I also loved how you handled Valka. As a mother myself, it did bother me a little in the last movie how Hiccup just accepted her decisions, and how she initially justified it to him. This is a very well thought out piece, and I'm looking forward to reading more from you! P.S. The sex was smoking hot too! X-D
