The obvious pairing you hint at would be Harry/Daphne/Ginny/Hermione, but i somewhat hope its a red herring, although i'm not sure which part of it i would prefer being the herring.

Okay, barring two hypothetical issues, that may or not even be an issue, I have nothing but endless praise and adoration for this story.

It is SO refreshing to have a positive portrayal of Dumbledore, he was my favorite character till JK turned him into a manipulative bastard who raised Harry as a lamb to slaughter, that's one of a myriad of reasons I despise books 6&7 and I refuse to acknowledge they exist.

I also like the lack of Weasley bashing, I dislike bashing for bashing sake. I dislike Ron but am open to his character being portrayed positively, just for the plain fact that I prefer character development, to see him evolve beyond the Canon characterization that left much to be desired.

In regards to pairings:

Hermione: I'm a harmony shipper, so you had me at hello

Ginny: Just as with Ron, I dislike her Canon character immensely but I am willing to put faith in you the author that you shall flesh out her character and actually give her a character beyond a one dimensional fan girl who could utter such words like "I knew you wouldn't be happy if you weren't fighting Voldemort"

Daphne: She is my one big issue with the whole story. I liked her fanon character the first couple of times I read it but now I hate it. She is portrayed the same way in every story and it seems that if I'm reading the signs correctly so shall it be in your story as well. She is known as the ice queen, she cold, calculating, snarky, and highly intelligent. She is neutral in politics and in her views on magic, she associates with Tracy Davis and Blaise Zabini. She is secretly very loving and warm especially to her little sister who she is very close to. She is cold and apathetic in the public eye to avoid dealing with the constant attention due to her astounding good looks and political clout that comes with her last name. She is usually as smart or smarter than Hermione and is able to outmaneuver politicians thrice her age. I've just described her characterization in every single story ever written...how sad. No character growth, no variety, same sh*t different story, what's even more sad is one author years ago wrote this characterization (not even for her but for Blaise when it was unknown that he was a she) and every author since has simply played follow the leader. Please write your own spin on the character, be original, you can read Hermione/Luna/Ginny played so many different ways yet Daphne is "The Ice Queen" Break the Cliche, be an innovator not an imitater. You know what would be a amazing spin on the whole ice queen cliche, everyone just assumes she is being purposefully cold and unresponsive but perhaps she is actually mute and or deaf. People labeled her instead of trying to get to know her. Harry takes the time to actually get to know her, perhaps starts with passing notes and she reveals her condition which she has kept secret using the ice queen front.
