Yay! Finally someone who doesn't portray "good old Boromir" as a pervert, a criminal, or just plain mean. He's my favourite character, and I've always been furious at all the fangirls for making him low-down and hateful. Back to the hobbits—they're just adorable. So peaceful. And hopeful. I only wish all of us could be like that.

Good grief, how do they remember all that? I have enough trouble keeping track of my second cousins, much less my maternal great-great-aunt!

Haha! Poor Boromir. Must be tough, travelling with hobbits. Never tried hobbits before. I've gone with dwarves, elves, men—but no hobbits. Hm.

Pieces like the last one make me cry, despite it's humor. Boromir really is very nice, just misled ... wahhhhhhh!
The rest was wonderful and beautiful, and so deeply touching. The hobbits are as hilarious as they should be, and so wonderfully in character ... Boromir too, of course. Loved the one in Lothlorien - Boromir and Merry sparring - the most!

Hobbits are like Hufflepuffs. They melt into the background and make a bustling community until some of them are needed. Then they provide the manpower, hard work, and loyalty needed to run an opposing army against a Dark Lord's regime.

This is amazing. You rarely see such good characterization and such careful writing with fluffy, humorous stories so this was a delight to read. Every chapter is wonderful but I think Hobbit Grooming has to be my absolute favorite.

Actually, I wanted to ask you a massive favour.

One of my English controlled assessments that I have to do very soon is one that is effectively a fanfiction - we choose any scene from any movie, and either rewrite it, or use it as inspiration for something linked to said scene. I was wondering if you would mind me possibly using bits of your story in said essay? I haven't decided my final idea, so I don't know which specific bits I'd use, but I thought it would be polite to ask, seeing as it's your genius I'll be using! I shan't be making any claims to it, just writing a three-page short snapshot on a scene, some of which might be heavily based on your story.
