IMO McGonagall behaved in the exact same way Ron Weasley continues to behave towards Harry: act and only afterwards engages brain or puts brain in gear.

Good story, but with the way this oneshot was going, I half expected Harry to end up with Luna as a girlfriend, and possibly married to her, not "alone in a new school"... I mean, seriously, Luna could have at least somehow went with him...

Interesting to say the least, but like many stories, the bad guys lose only at the end of the story and not too many details are given about what happens to them (you only said that they have been stopped or thrown by the veil, nothing more) Another thing that bothers me a lot It is that Harry did not say a few last words to magical Britain, sending them to hell for all the hate they have received and their wishes for another dark lord to finish destroying them (because it is the only thing they deserve)

I know this story was created quite a while ago but I still wanted to leave a comment.
This was such an interesting fic! Rarely do I see Harry truly get what he wants, a shot at a normal life as a teenage boy with loving and caring guardians. LOVED IT, loved everything about this 10/10.

This is absolutely terrific, I'm so glad I found this. I usually read only longfics, but I was lucky to stumble across an odd recommendation while another fan discussed Unforgivables in canon.

Thank you for this great fanfic, it's perfect as it is except of its length, I would totally enjoy reading it in 200k words version, although it might be my personal predisposition.
