Is Beckett forbidden to ever remove the ring? I mean why can't she remove it for a few moments when she visits Castle knowing that it's causing unnecessary conflict?

I’ve only began reading fanfiction in the last few weeks an d have really enjoyed it.
But today, I discovered Flashlight…. WOW! I started reading it at 3AM this morning Texas time, and just finished it! What a journey your writing took me on!
The closer I got to the end the more I feared the other shoe would drop and one or the other would die and that would have been so unfortunate such a well crafter stor to end like that.
I look forward to reading the sequel, I already have it saved!
