I read this entire story in one day because it was so incredibly written! I found the story itself to be unbelievably upsetting though. My heart is breaking from the constant abuse, assaults, and gaslighting that took place during the story and, according to both endings, will continue.

I really wish Dolohov and Lucius and Nott all went the same way as Blaise. And your Draco was so unabashedly evil and manipulative that I wanted Hermione to slit his throat. I really appreciate that he was tortured for years under a belief that his heir was dead (though it really isn't any retribution for raping her). I really wanted Narcissa to suffer as well but I guess we can't have it all. And I hope to god that wasn't a prophetic dream. There's too much resentment anger and history for that relationship to be anything close to healthy. I sincerely hope Hermione finds someone honourable and good for herself. Your story had me feeling nauseous and sick to my stomach throughout and I am glad I read through the last chapters to see her get a semblance of revenge and make her own justice. Kingsley needs to die as well for forcing Hermione into a marriage without her consent.

This is the ‘nth’ time I’ve read this story, so the familiarity allows me to appreciate the complexity, range of scenarios and so many ‘players’, while remaining true to the original characters. You’re a fantastic writer and many thanks for the happy hours of reading.

For all the stories written, I think this portrayal of Narcissa is the most culturally authentic - unfortunately.

Aaah, the over-confidence of Draco implementing the ‘Obliviatus’ and the mental strength and fortitude of Hermione. He’s got his work cut out.
