This is my favorite chapter because we find out Tatsumi goal and should that goal fail he thinks about his comrades first to go home.

I very much enjoyed the conversations between Roy and Julius leading up to conversation with Tatsumi. I was on the edge of my seat to read where this talk was leading..

Its always interesting to read conversation between Esdeath and Tatsumi. Two predators two minds two hearts two different ways of expressing cruel and brutal in tactic in war.

This story keeps getting more and more intense! Its painful to see the characters through these struggle throughout this war.

Tatsumi despite everything keep fighting and it hurt to read yet looking away would be more painful to ignore the reality of it all. A struggle of a soldier.

Excellent Story Man. I had my doubts about strafe first yet slowly things are coming along.
Next Fantastic character development with Seryu. Seriously she is extremely likeable in this.
I like that you made Night Raid the focus of questionable methods because that's exactly how it would be in real life.
I am a huge stan for anything of Esdeath and Tatsumi I personally think you are taking too long in making them have sex already lol.
I dont think you are ever going to finish this story but nonetheless great work so far.

I had a theory that perhaps corrupt official's are taking part in funding the Revolutionary Army in order for the war to continue with the Empire while they the benefactors make more profit off of land as well as gaining more land, taxes, pricing, shipping and disabushion.

So ask yourself this. Who benefits during a time of a war full of corruption.

Why is Strafe so useless? At least Incursio could evolve and adapt. Strafe literally is just like a more edgy armor but frail and useless baggage.

Unwanted Writer Don't agree at all, setting up a hypocritical character in this story like Tatsumi as someone who's apparently on the moral high ground while Night raid is all of a sudden in the wrong is horse shit, Tatsumi tries to change Esdeath at first and then he fails because he starts going crazy being with her which means Esdeath still continues to torture and kill innocents ect...

Speaking of which, I also want to say how disgustingly hypocritical it is for this particular Tatsumi in this fanfiction to even BE in a relationship with someone like Esdeath at all considering how he's always excessively preaching about justice and whatnot, Tatsumi at the beginning part of the story acts like a naive, arrogant little cocksucker saying if Nightraid tries going for Aria with his back turned he's apparently going to find a way to kill all of them, it's an empty threat that shows that Tatsumi needs to get off his fucking high horse. Shortly after he opens the shed and finds out about what happened to Leyasu and Sayo, he brutally kills Aria almost immediately when he was completely dead set on defending her saying "you can't cross this line" to Akame, what a crock of shit.

He'll kill Aria in a heartbeat but tries to make an effort to change Esdeath who's clearly league's worse of a person compared to Aria? The whole thing is just fucking irrational.

After awhile, I really did think Tatsumi would possibly change Esdeath in this story and then he does a fucking flip and all of a sudden it's the opposite where Esdeath is driving him crazy? What happened? Anyway, this story is a colossal let down, I overlooked Tatsumi being slightly out of character in the earlier chapter anyway since this is a fanfic but the hypocrisy of Tatsumi constantly talking about justice and getting ride of corruption when he hasn't done shit about Esdeath, Honest and so on bullshit. It turns into a complete trainwreck towards the end.

I just skimmed through this story to see the ending, it started out strong but quickly went downhill for me, I'm sorry to say but Tatsumi in this story is an unlikable, condescending piece of shit, you had him acting shitty towards his own allies at certain parts of the story which was a huge turn off, not to mention the excessive inner dialogue that he's always experiencing which was boring as fuck and I decided to just skip it completely after awhile because all I'm seeing several big paragraphs in a row of Tatsumi thinking about shit, absolutely embarrassing.

I read this whole story in 3 day. three. fuckin. days! Here is my whole review.
When I first saw the word count of this story? I knew I was in for the Looong ride. In all honesty, the pairing of this story is what got me started.
At first i was overwhelmed by the number of sentences and words pieces together, as i'm used to reading more lightly written stories, so it was pretty tough to get used to the story telling style at first, and in all honesty I thought of dropping the story few times, but the interest was still there so I kept reading
And by God all mighty! Am I glad I did it!
This story is simply amazing for me personally! My eyes and brain got used to writing style so it unconditionally ceased being a problem along the way.
The story of saber Tatsumi? Love it! Loved ocs! Loved the way you wrote Esdeath, loved Tatsumi! By reading your story, I started cheering Tatsumi and booing Night raid! The character I liked in night raid become those I started to dislike! And it was YOU who made me feel like that, whcih speaks how much I fell in love this this piece of story and made me change my views!
This is definitely one of those original ideas based of existing product stories that always makes me come back to fanfic community !
And now... when the game is set... when the final chapter is set in montion... the most anticipated part of story ...
Is absent...
And I have to wait for it god knows how long!
