I loved Shikaku’s POV in this chapter, perfect. The Nara is sharp yes. but he’s not the best at picking out emotions, that’s what Inoichi is for…. The Nara could tell his long-time friend this, and Inoichi would be intrigued by it. Just a thought. I loved how you wrote Shikaku, I only wish I would write him that well.
