Let me guess. That Legolas just looks at her with amazement. Seriously? And you are probably going to make her fall in love with Legolas really fast.

And why would the Three Hunters accept her so fast? Gimli's father had a fight with a dragon and Legolas and Aragorn (according to the last Hobbit movie Legolas was there and that Aragorn probably had heart of what happend in Esgaroth) Saw the destruction a dragon could make.
And lastly the only known being(s) in The Lord of the Rings that could communicate between minds is Galadriel and Elrond. And they bear Vilya and Nenya.
