I can't wait to see just how much influence Rei will have on Ino's life in the future and whether or not she'll still end up a Sasuke fangirl. That little outfit imitation is so cute. Don't know if any reviewer has told you this, but your story is awesome. I'd rate it a top three self-insert/oc fics I've read at this point and I've read a lot of them.

You do really well to keep your characters in character and give motive for changes in behaviour. Like Rei's now desire to be a good person, Tentens decision to be Rei's friend after her behaviour and Negi befriending Rei. It's what makes your story crack the nod from good to awesome.

Not exactly how I expected it to happen, but still, Rei and Neji will start to train together and make her Mary-sue side shine even brighter!

Really, even tough everybody tells me that a Mary-sue is a no go, I still like it very much.

This is my favorite chapter so far! Lately it's been hard to understand or empathize with Rei. She was being very illogical about moving upward in the ranks and so obviously imitating Orochimaru that it kind of hurt to read.

She's progressing though as a character as your story moves along. Befriending Tenten was a huge jump for her, I think. She's sweet girl, a thing people never seem to write about. You make Tenten interesting and I love that. Neji being awkward as hell about friends was...oddly charming.

Ino was so cute. Her sassiness suddenly emerging had me half waiting for Rei's comeback. When she hugged her though, oh my gosh. She's be such an annoying big sister who spoils Ino and it's the greatest thing.

I feel that your story deserves a comprehensive critique, but truly, you're doing everything right and I hope you keep doing it.

Your one mistake is calling Hashirama trees Hashirama, every time. And you've hit a pet peeve of mine; why isn't Rei picking up sealing? It's only the power of bending time and space, contracting gods, binding demons, and bringing people back from the dead.
