| Nutsy chapter 1 . 9/4/2001 Truly remarkable! The British-style black humor is VERY true to the series, and both Blackadder and Baldrick are very much in character. The action descriptions might leave a few things to be desired (they're not really descriptive enough for my tastes), but the dialogue is brilliant, as are the characters. I could almost HEAR Rowan Atkinson saying Blackadder's lines here ... This is EXACTLY how he would act! You seem to have a very good grasp on the other characters as well, particularly Baldrick. The only thing that reveals this as a fan-written play rather than a lost "Blackadder" script is that I don't think a real "Blackadder" episode would both introduce a new Blackadder and kill him off in the same episode... _ But who care? It's brilliant, it's funny, and it's intelligent! Bravo! |
| Gladden chapter 1 . 8/29/2001 Man, this is one of the best scripts/story's I have ever read. You captured the voice, style, tone, and everything else that makes Blackadder what it is, perfectly. In fact, if I had just found this script by chance, without knowing who wrote it, I would've sworn it was a "lost" episode from Blackadder. Seriously, you have a rare talent that makes you an amazing writer, so please, write more Blackadder scripts/stories. Great job! |
