Also, I see that the bar was not blown up per se but was instead shot up by plasma guns, and I must say kudos for creativity. That's so much better than simply blowing it up. xD

I really can't even pick a favorite part, I cracked up in various places all the way through this and then went back to re-read afterwards.

AND SERIOUSLY WHY DO THEY KEEP ASKING WHAT THE WORST THAT CAN HAPPEN IS? You do NOT give that kind of latitude to the universe. Good lord, it's like they've never read the rules.

All of this is meant to say that I enjoyed this tremendously and eagerly await more. However, capslocky flail is absolutely necessary to express such sentiments, so there you have it.

I have decided to attempt a regular update schedule, with new chapters every fortnight. Emphasis on attempt: the upcoming Christmas break might help or hinder this depending on my free time or work commitments. However, barring some unforeseen event, I will be updating every two weeks, on Sundays.
I have also posted corrected versions of the previous three instalments with the most glaring autocorrect errors removed. However, I am dyslexic, and I am about as British as you can get without surgically implanting Crumpets into your pecks, so if you spot any obvious failures in my attempts to imitate the film’s American English, or words that are just plain wrong, please don’t hesitate to say.
And yes, all the Marvel in jokes are there for a reason.

This is wonderful! I can imagine the arguments starting as soon as the movie credits finished. I thought everyone was in character, but I especially liked your Rocket. I could imagine him saying and doing just those things. And "There's a Kind of Hush" fits this story perfectly. Can't wait to read more.

also, they totally WOULD know the estimate value of his organs. for some reason that cracked me up.

SO GOOD. why are there not more reviews on this? it's the only thing I've read since seeing the movie that feels like legit canon. especially the arguing about exactly how much bad they're allowed and the hugging while threatening and I HAVE A LOT OF FEELS ABOUT THIS AND IT IS EXCELLENT.
please, keep writing. (is this posted on AO3? i feel like i just must've missed it there, I don't bother with ffnet very much anymore, lol.)

This is REALLY good! You did a fantastic job writing the characters and I had fun reading this first chapter. Update as soon as you possibly can.
