VeeCWS chapter 19 . 4/2/2021 I made an FF account just so I could review your works! This was such an endearing story and the transformation Beth and Daryl endured was paced to perfection. Thank you for writing! |
roswellian love chapter 19 . 10/18/2020 Perfect |
Guest chapter 19 . 9/1/2020 I really liked this story. I am glad as much of the prison family is still together. I will say that I never agreed with Maggie's actions to Beth's missing after the prison fell. After the farm fell, Maggie was very concerned about Beth's whereabouts. I believe the writers on TWD got her reaction wrong. Maggie would have looked for Beth. At the very least she would have asked more about her. Still enjoy your writing. |
Guest chapter 7 . 9/8/2019 rereading...this is such a good story, thank you for sharing |
RoryKat chapter 12 . 5/17/2019 “Her parents and her brother and Maggie had loved her but no one had actually cared for her the way that Daryl did.” Makes you wonder how we define love and how you could love someone but not care for them, how there are varying degrees of love. How does Beth define love? How does Daryl define love? (“perhaps he wasn’t actually able to love anything”) We know he cares for her immensely, more than her own family did. Would that be defined as love? I think so, though Daryl doesn’t recognize it just yet. Neither does Beth. She tells herself that he cares for her and it’s enough, that she doesn’t need him to love her or to say he does; but I think that’s exactly what she needs, more than anything. |
RoryKat chapter 10 . 5/17/2019 The end of this chapter has me almost crying happy tears. I also love Daryl’s line: “Ain’t nothin’ to be sorry ‘bout.” So much in just a few words. |
RoryKat chapter 9 . 5/16/2019 The emotional journey through this chapter was incredible. I think you wrote the conversation between Rick and Daryl very well. Sometimes I forget Rick was a cop before the apocalypse and dealt with crimes that happen every day — not “sensational” murder mysteries, shootouts, and drug cartel kingpins, but domestic violence, rape, and assault. It is also a harrowing reminder of statistics: 1 in 4 women are sexually assaulted (probably more, seeing as it is underreported) today. In a post-apocalyptic anarchy, a conservative estimate could be 3 out of 4. The show mostly focuses on the blood, gore, murder, and power trips, but there are many quiet and terrible crimes too. Statistically, Beth would be raped by those monsters at Grady. It’s an ugly and heartbreaking truth. |

Erin Deadwood chapter 19 . 11/10/2018 This was such a sweet story, thank you for sharing it with us! |
Erin Deadwood chapter 17 . 11/10/2018 Poor Glenn, I could really imagine him trying to apologize to everyone, he is such a sweet guy. |
Erin Deadwood chapter 15 . 11/10/2018 Was refreshing to read some of Beth's thoughts about Maggie, and yeah, in the how Maggie was just so desperate with finding Gleen, I dont even think she mentioned Beth once even? Could really relate to Beth's thoughts about Maggie being the 'useful sister' |
Erin Deadwood chapter 14 . 11/10/2018 I really liked this chapter too, its nice seeing Beth and Daryl overcome their issues together |
