Why do I suddenly have the feeling that in a few chapters something horrible (non-canonical) is going to happen? Oh dear...

Cool chapter. Thank you so much for your dedication and creativity, which has brought us this story. I look forward to each chapter, each wrinkle, each view of altered aspects of the timeline that Dawn's initial gambit has rolled forward. I like how Dawn has to think on her feet in this one, as she remembered what happened last time and that, this time, Spike is out front reading magic books. I also like how Dawn's character has a reasonable yet in-character sense that she has to solve things herself. I wonder, has Glory's memory magic affected her, where the monk's magic only partly succeeded? So cool to have mysteries ahead of us! :)

I can completely buy the idea that Dawn believes she stopped being the key after the encounter with Glory though I personally am more in the camp that thinks you don't just stop being something because some magic date has passed. But I don't think it's something she's really going to be able to easily spell away. Spike has cause for concern there. And it's funny that I hadn't even considered the idea of Spike disappearing in front of everyone until after Dawn dragged him into the back room. Thanks for another great chapter.

Ah, daylight savings. At least the one coming up is the better of the two. :P

Wonderful chapter. I found it intriguing (yet believable) that Buffy has brought Spike into her counsel. Given that Dawn is her twin and not a child, it was good that she informed her of the truth before running and telling everyone else.

Well. I guess Buffy won't exactly be delighted when she finds out that Dawn knew all along. Or should that be an if? Nah... probably a when.

In typical Summers fashion, Dawn figures she knows best so why get anyone else's input on the plan. :) Life just keeps getting more confusing for Buffy. Just how many alternate realities did she see? Great work as usual.

Oh cool, I like that this time Buffy tells Dawn up front and enlists Spike as a protector from the start. Dawn maybe because her age makes her more a peer and fake memories seem to make them get along better. But trusting Spike is different. Butterfly wings from Dawn's campaign (notes, no Adam betrayal, no chip to cloud perceptions of Spike's free will). Very interesting to consider.

*cackles* Spike and Dawn's conversations was just...Epic. Yes, that's the word. God, they were able to sum up so much. Poor confused vampire.

Ah, jealous Riley hath arrived. Been waiting for him to show up.

I do appreciate that Buffy and Spike are getting different dreams/flashbacks. Makes it more interesting that they're not being given the same...insights.

So I just found this crazy, wonderful spin on a show I miss story. I'm really amazed by how different it is while still remaining to the show. Spider's in love, Buffy is almost there and I just wanna shake Dawn lol. Can't wait to see what happens next.

It was fun reading about Spike's crisis of evilness (and I love that you gave me something to call it in your author notes). Hopefully Dawn doesn't get too distracted by the fact that she can put more effort into her matchmaking now. Survival is still important! :)

It's a delight to read each chapter, so reviews are like a treat at the end. I like the trajectory of emotions in this one. Spike's complex feelings and journey are especially well handled. I like that in this timeline he actually had to make a choice at this point. Something is shifting in him.

I don't mind spuffy but don't forget to involve Dawn in this timeline

Oooh, interesting. They had flashes of the original timeline before the monks, but now they're stronger. An interesting effect. I wonder if Spike, at least, will start to doubt what's true, start to doubt his feelings. Can't wait to find out.
