JoseSkinner chapter 22 . 9/28/2018 LOL. This chapter is amazing. I know this story isn't that great but this is such an insane tonal shift. It seems obvious that you don't fully care about the story or something along that line because you really didn't give a damn. It doesn't work. If you wanted to have this story have itself shift to a more depressing tone you need to build for it. Don't have Shirou just revive people for the hell of it. Lower the harem aspects. Play this story more straight. You have Doni being like, PLEASE TEACH ME SHIROU. Then he ded. Then everyone ded. This isn't good writing. You can't have a generic harem story then hard cut it into death and a post apoplectic world. It doesn't match in any manner. |
Guest chapter 22 . 9/28/2018 Well this after the asspull of the whole Cain thing has definitely broken my desire to see the story go forward or well, anythimg else you're writing. I'll check back in a year, I guess. |
Jake chapter 14 . 9/28/2018 Good stuff man. Thanks for writing. |
star chapter 22 . 9/27/2018 Lol two deaths for one Erica...my souls hungers for more. Must say...this is the first major fic to host a bad ending...atleast for humanity... feels kinda like attack on titans and GOT... where there is no guarantee who would live and who would die |
Guest chapter 22 . 9/27/2018 This felt really abrupt, to the point where I'm not even sure if I enjoyed it. It was just too sudden a change |
Impstar chapter 11 . 9/27/2018 Well... I can't say I'm thrilled with this turn of events. I feel like the damage caused by Cain would have been a create way to introduce conflict and change the story; Godou is constantly reminded of the consequences of apathy and his hesitation, the destruction that Gods can cause is hammered in... And Shirou keeps spontaneously manifesting protagonist powers to deal with the situation. Like, a little is probably okay, but half of that entire fight he was pulling powers out of nowhere. If the enemy is too strong for the protagonist to beat without Deus ex Machinas showing up, then they're narratively too strong for your story. And all the horror that Cain caused... I felt that. It had an impact on me as a reader. And then it was all undone. Poof. And the fact that Shirou could just resurrect a city is absurd; at this rate, what CAN'T he do? If he can do that, he basically gets a, "Get out of all permanent consequences free" card. Like, this bothers me to the point where I am legitimately wondering if I should finish this story. I'm sorry, but I think you messed up with the Cain fight. |
Elsil chapter 1 . 9/27/2018 I definitely have to say that I did not see the apocalypse coming. Interesting tactic with that choice. ~Elsil |
Kayen1024 chapter 22 . 9/27/2018 So is Shirou a heretic god then? Great chapter by the way. |
Abaddon953 chapter 22 . 9/27/2018 ...wtf just happened? It feels like you got bored and decided to put out a very subpar chapter, just to hurry the story along and end it. That being said, I hope Liliana lives. |
Kiri Kaitou Clover chapter 22 . 9/26/2018 ... Well. Ouch? This chapter actually hurt a lot more than expected for me? Because poor Godou, and poor Shirou (well, your version of him.). |
OldManZenny chapter 22 . 9/26/2018 This chapter and it's depth can be summed up in the wordsand then everyone dies". how anticlimactic. You have no sense of dramatic tension. This was essentially the epilogue because you can't come back from that. |
javi30 chapter 6 . 9/26/2018 This Erica is a nosy bitch |
UniversalTomato chapter 22 . 9/26/2018 That's a hard path you've taken. Hope you can handle it |
izica1 chapter 22 . 9/26/2018 Please don't kill Liliana I want to see her with Shirou |
Guest chapter 22 . 9/26/2018 Well. This was good while it lasted, but this last chapter killed it for me. You've made the situation so horrifically bad, any end to it can be, at best, a pyrrhic victory, and I have no interest in such a story. |
