A romance story that's REALISTIC?! What is this madness? This is Fanfiction! Realism gets thrown out the window, set on fire, and has its ashes danced upon!

... Okay, after that weirdness, I'm liking the story so far. I really do appreciate that you're going for something more realistic. It drives me crazy seeing 90% of any romantic stories on here being completely ridiculous in their plots or how the characters act.

Woo another chapter and so quickly too. You really do capture Blake's personality quite well, so that's definitely a good thing more so since she's often so quiet in the actual show. I'm looking forward to her and Jaune hanging out more and seeing turn into romance down the line.

Some comments: I think it's better to fully capitalize the words RWBY and JNPR when it comes to the teams since those are technically acronyms (and more people are used to seeing them in that format). Also I'd like to point out (coughdefendcough) that Blake x Jaune is a fairly popular pairing around here. Sure not on the same level as Arkos but there are a lot of stories with lots of attention that focuses on that pairing (Faunus in Heat comes to mind). Also if I may suggest adding Jaune and Blake into the character slots for this story's description. As it is now there aren't any and people who are looking for stories of those two might be missing out on it because of the search filters and such.

Anyway, great work, I'm really enjoying it so far. Keep it up.

Dramatic, descriptive, in character, overall splendid.
And a valid reason for them to get together too, so long as she doesn't instantly fall for him.
I know it's a bit tedious and it takes longer, but the best kind of romance fics are the longer, subtler ones with bumps in the road. There are as many good moments as there are bad, up and downs twists and turns.

Sorry for the rant, but I only do that with a new story that I think has real potential.

Gotta say, this looks like it has a lot of potential. So far everyone seems to be in character, Blake especially with her most quiet and reserved personality. The way it's written is solid too, clean and easy on the eyes. Real good start and I look forward to seeing more.
