That's SO sweet!

Am I right in assuming along with Tirek draining his magic, it's a changeling pretending to be Fluttershy & Celestia? I don't see why it would have to by Chrysalis, unless I missed something. The argument makes it make sense, plus it would be feeding on his love in two different ways, and he feels weaker after, without the changling even having to put much effort into form ... It's a pretty terrible fate, especially for Discord and umpteen times worse if it's Discord as Q. But in a kind of Hamlet way, I would take it over all sorts of other things, I suppose. But since it seems to emulate Fluttershy so well, while simply providing him with a fantasy of Celestia, it makes me wonder what happened to real Fluttershy... And Celestia, or if they might think he's dead, or they're dead, or... Well, it's a clear-ish situation but vague on 'how' on purpose, so I should take it as it is. Sad and not sad. And definitely sad.

I already responded to this via PM, but I'm posting this into the reviews so others who read the review below will have the same information:

Why, yes, it is totally out of character for Celestia to be doing this. But I just can't think, who else could or would possibly want to impersonate Celestia while enticing a helpless, semiconscious Discord into feeling love for her? Hmm...

Or in other words: read the tags, this is a horror story. Just because Discord (who is blindfolded, powerless, and barely conscious most of the time) thinks he's living through a piece of warm bittersweet fluff about ponies who love him doesn't mean that it's true.

I will totally buy Discord enjoying this sleeping sickness of yours for sometime if only because he can have something he might yearn for but would never ever otherwise have, and that is to be able to have Fluttershy and in this case Celestia lavish him with affection, and yet he has a blessedly legitimate excuse to not feel bad about 'selling out' and betraying his beloved chaos. But I won't buy Celestia doing all that why he's lying in bed half asleep half dead, even if he has a fetish where his lover wants him even while he's unconscious, that doesn't mean Celestia would react that way she'd be worried about him, and worrying makes you feel the opposite of sexy. Interesting premise though.
