Hello I'm reading this in 2023 so I'm sure you'll never it but I just want to say that I'm enjoying it alot! Have never read a fic that takes place after Always. I had to force myself to watch it after the Limey when Beckett officially "died" to me. I mean seriously? Within a span of 48hrs she went from being madly in love to screwing that dude with the dumb accent? Anyway, I digress, I only have 2 stupidly small nitpicky things to say about this chapter. 1st the fact that she would call DC home doesn't really make sense. Only been there a few months & doesn't really seem to enjoy the job anyway. She went home to NYC in the beginning saying she quit & didn't seem to concerned about whether or not they'd take her back. 2ndly, Castle has a guestroom that Pi could stay in. Lastly, you made it sound like the bookshelf was an actual bedroom wall. That was only an office wall. See! I told you they were stupid nitpicks. Oh yeah, I also wanted to say I've read other Castle fics of yours & have enjoyed them as well. I really do wish that these characters were yours instead of Marlowe & company. He started with 2 great characters & then just trashed them! When they canned AM they should have let his wife run it from there. Anyway, great story & I shall finish it. Mike

Amazing fic. So close to canon but takes a better turn and is written and handled so well.

I truly loved everything about this story and if I had my druthers I would just wish it could continue. But much like life, all good things do end. That being said this was a lovely AU that you took us on. Thank you. I miss the show but this was just as good which I think says a lot since you wrote it so beautifully. So once again, thank you very much.
