This is one of the best P&P fics I have read. I love your characterization of Elizabeth and Darcy and the way you have slowly developed their relationship. Everyone else feels in character too. My favourite part is the subplot with Mr. Bennet's books and how Darcy getting them for Lizzy prompted her to realize that she loved him.

I have recently stumbled upon this story and have read all of the chapters posted and i really love this story! I love your darcy as he is so sweet and kind to lizzy. I love the fact that the characters you have written stay true to their character from the way jane austen written them. i am glad lizzy doesn't get overly angry and irrrational as she is sometimes written in other fanfics and that darcy is very careful and considerate of his words. I read through all of the chapters within a couple of days and many times has this fanfic made me happy. I dearly hope you finish this story and will wait until you do, thank you so much :)

This whole story is probably the most romantic thing I've ever read. I should have gone to bed hours ago, but I decided to indulge myself and just read this whole thing. I will most definitely be coming back to re-read this at a later date, and to leave several more reviews. I will say that the characterization in particular is spot on. Thank you for writing this and sharing it with the world. It's lovely, and you should be proud of it.

I know this story is not officially over, but I think it works very well like it is! Darcy and Elizabeth are having happy and there is no doubt Bingley and Jane will be too. Thank you for a lovely story! It was wonderful to be immersed in it. :)

Just reread. It may not be finished, but it ends in a good place. You could call it finished. Bingley and Jane and any other loose ends could be an entirely new story, whenever you have time again.

I'm loving this story, and not really sweating that it seems to be abandoned, as I think if you just said chapter 23 was the end, you would have a perfectly good story without any more. Of course, you would like to resolve Jane/Bingley, etc. but I'm content myself.

As others have said, this is a well-worn trope, but you bring a whole new concept to how it's done, and your execution is masterful. Having Lizzy gradually change her attitudes again is nothing new, but I love the way you did it.

So if you continue this story I'll be happy to see the rest, but I am happy I've read this far.

I don't usually enjoy fanfics of P&P, but you've done a very careful job with this. I clicked on the last chapter only intending to see how it ended, and somehow ended up reading the whole thing late into the night and early the next morning. I especially liked the historical and character notes at the end of each chapter. Very glad to hear you're planning to continue, and I'm sorry that your husband isn't well. Hope things go well for you and your family!
