Wouldn't sound waves have just sliced right through the katien? I mean if they didn't then the hyuuga couldn't breathe while using it and there would be a BOOM when activating it (as the air would be shoved out and around) plus when it ends (the air refilling the vacuum). BUT there isn't one, so, it doesn't do that, SO sound waves should go right through. Actually the technique has some SERIOUS problems, I mean, if one were to use an underground attack "hiding like a mole", or A "double headhunter" jutsu, it could be VERY BAD for the defender, as their LEGS would stop suddenly, but the REST of the body would still be pulled for the twist by chakra. Theoretically twisting the person in two! And that's just ONE weakness that comes to mind.

You know if you have to explain THREE times to characters in the story that you are not helping konoha, it's probably BECAUSE YOUR HELPING KONOHA! That "we make them suffer on our terms", is CRAP! I might believe it, if it didn't take ANOTHER attack on the group and TWO more chapters to just get rid of Danzo. Konoha needs to DIE, it needs ERASED, instead of cutting off the heads of the hydra, you INCINERATE the BODY! So there is nothing for the heads to GROW FROM! Personally I don't see why a wizard (or witch) like maleficent doesn't just make all those "fake" explosion tags that COVER the village and the hokage monument "ACTIVE" then trigger them! BOOM! -CRATER- and the mountain crumbles into it, filling it and turning it into a MASSIVE grave! It would be a MASSIVE show of power (never mind that she never was the one that placed them all) that she could ERASE the strongest hidden village from Nami without ever even having any of her people get CLOSE to it and that they had NO DEFENSE! I think even the akutski might be TERRIFIED of that (not even pein can do that)

I find it stupid, if she's ordered not to speak to anyone about what's going on, those would be the FIRST ONES she should speak too about it, like within SECONDS of the meeting. The third's curse is also a BIT light don't you think? It's what was going to happen ANYWAY...No curse the CLANS... Every time the third tries something one of them DIE, or something gets worse for THEM... And the cause of their misfortune is known.. It's all HIS FAULT! Another sacrifice MUST be made to elevate the curse, someone of the old man's blood must be made to SHED blood to even lighten the misfortune on the clan, at least until the old man think's up ANOTHER plan, that brings down the sword of Damocles on someone else's head. He would become hated, DESPISED by his own village, thrown out of office, spat on, his clan name spoken in DISGUST! That is a good curse, THEN throw him in the shinigami's belly! AND have the general thought of the village be "good riddance to bad rubbish". ROFL, they might even think of orochimaru as a hero for taking his life with him. ROFL, now THAT'S FUNNY!

Considering the inzukia lives in a clan run by his MOTHER and is outranked by his older SISTER (who will lead the clan after their mother) I'd be careful at whom HE(of all people) calls a "momma's boy"... Also why doesn't kurenai REIGN IN her student? She should have BROKEN that out of him by now.. Or is she really THAT INCOMPETENT?(You really should have made kurenai a LITTLE faster on the gun and a little more vicious). What is wrong with the leaf? NOBODY can seem to do their jobs! How did it exist this long?

"will you attack the mutt and make them unable to compete"?.. Must be a forgotten plot line huh? That's a shame, could have been an interesting twist. Team 8 not even competing and that whole negji-candy-a%% not even being used.

SO if it's THAT easy to get rid of seals? Then why have the next few chapters about that problem? Destroy the cage bird and let the hyuuga tear each other apart... "clan matters" the hokage can't help... Even before naruto finds out about it, who cares?..They can't DO anything about it.. "why did you destroy it?" "Because I can"... Easy enough... To the winner goes the spoils, but consider most if not all the main branch are pathetic old people, that are out-numbered, it's kinda obvious who would win that fight. "But you undermined the entire village!"... "You say that, like you think I would CARE for some reason?".

All he DID was block a projectile and MOUTH OFF!(doesn't EVERY SINGLE weakling in the series do the EXACT SAME THING?) How is that over the top? Which they should ALL be getting either USED too or BORED with at this point. You don't want to cause them to pay LATER, you want to do a spectacle... A complete ANNIHILATION of them, show them there is nothing they can do, no avenue that can save them, nobody that can help, nobody they can plead with to help them.. Let them know utter DESPAIR and HOPELESSNESS, THEN KILL THEM! That's revenge and it's NOT a waiting game.

Okay this makes little sense, you want Naruto to be strong enough enough to beat your enemies correct? The toad wants to make SURE he can defeat/kill the villages problems... You ALSO want him loyal to a village, that up to this point, has given him NO reason to be loyal, except vague promises and platitudes, BUT you ALSO want him to NOT have have anything that would cement his loyalty, and instead keep him away from it, which insures he WON'T be loyal?.. You see why I say your characters are a little schizo? In cases like this, it's a binary answer: for those not informed, that's a YES or NO... One or the other, as in you don't get both! My main reason for objecting to a lot of these stories (no matter how well written) is they are JUST not possible... You got to PICK one..

So all of this BASICALLY for a necklace that SHATTERS in canon?(because the nine is WAY too powerful for it) and is Pretty much WORTHLESS? Well I'm not going to judge, maybe you have bigger plans for it. Seems kind dumb to me though, just TAKE it while she's sleeping, or parallelize her while awake and take it, if they aren't strong enough to do anything about it, then why play by their rules? THEY have been doing that since the beginning, why not SHOW THEM how it feels to be on the receiving end of the stick? Also a word about later, um the people don't CARE about how Hirashima and Torinma thought or acted because they're dead, and all that but SOMEHOW the hyuuga traditions are to be obeyed? AREN'T those two thoughts mutually exclusive? Since they are kinda the same thing? Tradition can either be followed OR ignored.. Both at the same time REALLY doesn't work if your trying to establish any kind of order! THAT is just chaos and anarchy, which I THOUGHT the villages were founded to kinda STOP.

"fate cutter", not seeing a WHOLE lot of that, I mean it IS the "fate" of sarutobi to die at the hands of orochimaru during the finals of the exams... Nothing changed... It is the "fate" of Negji to survive the exams and be okay later(no REAL physical changes either), plus also to beat hinata nearly (but not quite) to death, again NO CHANGES... Suna invades with sound against the leaf?.. Same, Naruto helps protect the leaf?.. Same, leaf comes through it with Tsunade as the hokage? Same. Danzo and his fellow moron squad survive? Same... Naruto becomes the next toad summoner and will eventually be trained by jiriya (when he gets around to it)?... Same, and if the story is going as expected?.. Same...
Ino and sakura fan girls of sasuke? (even though now that someone IMPORTANT their age is in the mix and sasuke's family being ALIVE kinda makes that whole "wounded" thing kinda nonexistent?)... Same..

Although why suna WOULD invade without their jinchuriki is a mystery, not that they WOULD do it, I mean they most certainly WOULD, but what USE are they?

So why didn't iruka tell mizuki that they'd BOTH be dead if he did anything? Other then offer stupid PLATITUDES? Also why not CARRY out such a threat, don't threaten collateral damage if you have no intention on DOING it, I personally see no problem in killing BOTH for either's screw up, it just means the other didn't try hard enough to stop them! But I feel that way toward the entire village, "not doing something" is STILL a choice. The LAW kind of feels the same way, if two people go into a bank and the first one robs it even if the second has NO idea what was going on. The second is still guilty "after the fact"... Also if two people go into a bank and rob it and the first guy shoots and kills someone, even if the second guy is in the vault at the time, then the second guy is JUST AS GUILTY of the murder! It's just how it is! Here iruka should be killed right along side with mizuki! They were warned, they CHOSE not to listen!

I think the "collateral damage" thing ALSO shows just how LITTLE Maleficent and Naruto care about ANYONE in the village or the village as a whole! Plus is shows that they are more or less LOOKING for ANY reason to lay waste to it and the stupidity and arrogance of the population KEEP SUPPLYING them with them!(that is IF either one would have WENT THROUGH with it) Never been a fan of hyperbole, but then again, FIRM believer in "Actions speak louder then words!" If you say "I'm gonna make you suffer"... Then MAKE THEM SUFFER!.. "I'll kill you".. Becomes more a STATEMENT of FACT then a bluster! That wins respect and FEAR a lot more then big talk, with nothing to back it! The hyuuga elders can BLUSTER, but I'd be more terrified of ONE plague-diseased rodent then I would of all of the dilapidated, slow, arthritic, half-senile, weak, brittle, ancient men/women put together! The elders are too entrenched in their positions? HA, I say cry "havoc" and let loose the dogs of war! In other words, kill em' off and THEN deal with the chaos. also "you can deal with it if naruto can use the kyuubi"?.. Um NO, PEIN couldn't "deal" with the kyuubi, the toad most certainly CANNOT "deal with the kyuubi", NOBODY can, THAT'S THE POINT!

Also this whole thing of "it wouldn't be a fair match"... SO WHAT? They are NINJA, there is NO SUCH THING! A ninja is supposed to use EVERY advantage at their disposal. Negji is like sasuke, the third and the three buzzards, (and in some cases, kiba and jiriya and MANY others..BUT in all cases, except for the three buzzards they are ALWAYS beyond hope), he's BEYOND saving, it's TOO LATE. The only thing to be done is to put him DOWN! Hinata's love or her being mad at them for doing something, while NOBLE is MISPLACED and needs to be ignored this ONCE and possibly ONE other more time when it comes to hiashi. You want to cure the "rot" in the village? Then you ARE going to make a few CRY at least ONCE!

Also "considering everything he lost"?... What did he lose? His daddy? SO WHAT?.. Have you ever noticed that, almost no children in the village have fathers? It's kinda an occupational hazard! It's nothing! Plus he lost him when he was like 4-5 years old, he should BARELY be able to remember him! So really it explains NOTHING. Besides WHERE IS HIS MOTHER? Shouldn't he still HAVE one parent?

Very noble but sad omake, (liked seeing hiruzin GET HIS) in the normal one...but it does lead to ONE question, why wouldn't Nageto just use the rinnegan to bring Naruto back? He can resurrect ANYONE he wants! (I never understood why he didn't for his dead "friend") (and not on a time-limit or a jutsu tether, or anything like the edo) He SHOULD have just been like "okay well konoha is DEAD, everyone is cowering in MORTAL terror, but if you want your kid back.. Um here you go!" But that DOES kinda kill the whole "noble" and "heroic" thing doesn't it?

So why is naruto HELPING the leaf, they have NEVER helped him at all, in fact they have only been doing the OPPOSITE of "helping" even AFTER all the lies have been brought to light, and don't say "we will take them out in our own time" because that's just silly and FAR too uchiha-like, WHOMEVER kills them, then the leaf has PAID all the same! It doesn't MATTER who lands the "deathblow". Let the sound and leaf TEAR EACH OTHER TO SHREDS, Naruto and the others SHOULDN'T CARE! "The ENEMY of MY enemy, is my friend", and in a WEIRD way, Orochimaru is a FRIEND in this one.

So what if the bank called in the loan? How exactly are they going to collect? Civilians are all mouth NO MUSCLE! Just tell them "Thank you for the GIFT!" And tear up their stupid contract right in their faces (tends to happen when civilians have NO HOPE or NO POWER to DO anything) IT'S A NINJA village! Ever wonder why loan sharks DON'T loan money to assassins? Because if they decide they don't WANT to pay it back, there is nothing the shark can DO about it! Actually that's the ONE thing I found funny in ALL these stories by MANY authors, civilians SHOULDN'T have ANY sort of power over shinobi! NONE, if the shinobi want their money, they can JUST TAKE IT, the civilians CAN'T STOP THEM! Plus the ninja are the majority so there is nobody to even complain too! So they shouldn't have ANY (AT ALL) control over how things are done!

Again I don't get it, with tsunade being hokage, the ONLY reason she did was because of naruto, she DOESN'T CARE about konoha! The civilians, the councils and CERTAINLY NOT the "advisers".
Proof, proof, always PROOF... Um, if costumes, people and weapons aren't proof enough? Then your an idiot. As Tsunade saw, the other villages were MORE then willing to go to war and ash the leaf over JUST those... Also who the heck is she showing this PROOF too?! There are NO COURTS! NO JUDGES, NO JURIES! JUST the kage! (or daimyo) She's ALSO NOT an "old friend" of the cripple! So no emotional attachment to ENDING him!
