Reviews for Maleficent Kitsune |

![]() ![]() ![]() Damn nice chapter though seems the Hyuuga and Uchia clans are still gonna gun for Naruto well it's their death wish I guess anyways keep up the great work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I wonder how much the Uchiha and Hyuuga will pay for what they have done to Naruto as he grew up before being rescued by Maleficent when Tsunade reads the reports that the Sandaime 'skipped' in order to have his 'loyal weapon' when Naruto is older and stronger |

![]() ![]() ![]() PRAISE THE LOG ITS BEEN SO LONG! I'm so happy! |
![]() ![]() ![]() You know what's funny? I had a chapter like this in mind for my story "Ai Youkai" in the future when Naruto's group confronts Konoha after their absence. Except for the loan, that was one idea I did not have, but great idea. Very Game of Thrones of you. When I get to this point in my story I still intend to make the points I planned to, but now I'm going to be a little more creative so it doesn't feel like a repeat of this scene. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Good stuff |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nice Game of Thrones references. Keep up the good work. dracohalo117 |

![]() ![]() ![]() like XD |
![]() ![]() ![]() So, Tsunade cleaned house, and Konoha, for the most part, seems to be on the mend. That's good. Let's hope it can stay that course. Guess we'll see, won't we? Keep up the awesome work man. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Good for Tsunade and Konoha, not that I care ... still there are obvious a few more weeds to pull before things truly get to how she wants. Anyway I am curious if there might be other Oto shinobi that move to Wave ... like Guren or the boy that could control the 3 tails, heck this would make for a good opportunity to maybe create some OC's. At this point Naruto might as well create a village in Nami |
![]() ![]() Oh, and I forgot, I really like what you did with the contradictory logic/orders facing the ROOT members, as well as attempting to "re-educate" them. I will say that while "re-education" is an accurate descriptor for this situation, it does have some rather "Orwellian" associations with it. Perhaps "treatment and rehabilitation" might have been more general terms to use instead (as "un-brainwashing" or "de-brainwashing" sound a bit to informal)? Again, just throwing stuff out there even if there might not be much point to it. See you later! |
![]() ![]() You know, it's kind of weird, but this is actually one of the most "mercifully forgiving" of your stories. Sure Hiruzen isn't around, and Orochimaru and Danzo are dead, but the former is expected from canon and the latter two have no tears being shed for them. Some civilian council people also died, and while one could argue that shinobi and civilians should ideally be relative equals due to the former being military and the latter being economy (to maintain the village infrastructure and retrofit the shinobi with supplies even if the shinobi can earn their own income as mercenaries, with many of said contracts coming from civilians of multiple villages as often as they do other shinobi), you sure as hell went out of your way to make these particular civilians a lot greedy supremacist bastards. Also of note are Tsunade, Jiraiya, and the Uchiha being redeemed and even Homura, and Koharu being spared death at the very least. Yes, they will likely go to prison for the rest of their lives, but they are still alive. Note I am not calling for you to kill them, and nothing's to say that you won't still do so after they've gotten as much information as can be gotten out of them, but it is a refreshing change of pace in regards to what fate they've so far received in this story compared to many of your others. In regards to the degree of their guilt, one could say that their longtime presence around Hiruzen and Danzo may have gotten them to become rather jaded towards the ideology of "might makes right". Not to mention that this chapter shows that they were unaware of their status as pawns to Danzo for all these years. It is enough to make one wonder if they would have behaved differently had they known of this manipulation from the very beginning. All in all, I'm not about to place any bets on seeing a "good/redeemed" Homura/Koharu story from you anytime soon, but it might be a fresh and interesting scenario for your writing skills to explore. Whatever you do, it is still nice to see this story update even though it has been quite some time since its inspiring film originally came out. If I might make a suggestion, how about updating "Deathly Uzumaki", possibly with Naruto learning the fine details of Barragan's "forward and reverse aging" powers and to go fun with these in a way that no author ever has before. Heck, if they aren't dead already, perhaps you might even give enemies like Koharu a "de-aging punishment" like the kind said character receives in the fanfic "Eroninja"? Eh, chances are nothing much will come of this review being buried among so many others, but at least I tried. Best of luck to you and your future plans. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Excellent chapter. Love that this story is back, kinda hate that Tsunade is even being given a shot. I look forward to the next chapter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Good chapter and really glad to see an update, loved that Danzo's dead and the more corrupt members of the Konoha council have been taken down. But you got the Izanagi technique description wrong, A Uchiha can use it without needing Senju DNA but Senju DNA does extend the Izanagi time limit and can possibly restore their eyesight given time via evolving their eye into a Rinnegan. Still enjoyed the chapter though :) |
