I actually have this image of Naruto hitting Kage while officially being a genin. similar things have happened several time IRL.

he might've wanted to keep the dead last image intact, but I think it would be very much in character for Tsunade to leave Naruto as a genin just to troll him. and because itd be funny to have a practicing jonin who's still technically a genin.

...ah yes the Wasabi Ramen Incident is soon. it's been a while since i re-read this so i had all but forgotten about it. ah, good times.

naruto is literally the only ninja in history to be promoted from Genin to Kage in one go. he never makes Chunin of Jounin in Canon, and yet is promoted straight to Kage.

... or if he does get promoted its off screen somewhere. but seriously, i am pretty sure the lack of promotion was either an oversight on Kishimoto's part, or it was to illustrate just how frantic things got because of Akatsuki, and thus naruto never had the CHANCE to get promoted. things did kind of spiral out of control pretty fast in Canon. thus i did not really see ANY opportunities for naruto to get promoted.

i am also sure naruto has been brainwashed at some point. the whole blood prison movie alone should have had naruto wash his hands of all the villages. not only is he framed for the attempted assassination of the 4th raikage, but he is then locked in the most vile prison on the face of the planet, with ALL his chakra locked away, all so the kage's can get an inside man in the prison to figure out what is going on.

and they never tell naruto anything. and once he is let out, and they tell him the truth... he just forgives them? there HAS to be some mind fuckery going on in there somewhere. not even naruto is THAT forgiving.

Separate note, I was happy this story was going to have survivors of the bloodline purge and curious what was going to be done with that.

To find they all had their minds destroyed and then killed off was a massive let down and just depressing.

Kiba seems to be the authors back up plan if he decides not to put her with the group. With his lines and thoughts though I'm not a fan of the pairing.

Girls been through hell and then some. She deserves better than that.

Ack, I forgot shizuka was mentioned but I highly doubt it. Theres always Shion, and yakumo kurama as possibilities. Both I also doubt but could be interesting.

Also yugao I believe at this point is also single just to mention but the possibility is likely nil for any of them.

Of course theres other encounters hes had like koyuki but none of them have been or are likely to be mentioned.

Ever since I've read stories like From Ramen With Love, Temari jumped up on my list as a possibility after his first encounter if they were to stay in touch and a bigger boost after he helps on the rescue mission. Clearly this isnt one of those possibilities though.

While there's the 3 beauties samui, karui, and mabui aside from yugito who I mentioned I highly doubt there will be anything. Again it'll probably remain with the 3 and maybe kitty pryde.

Cross my fingers for others like tsunade who I feel sorry for and like it when she finds happiness in stories with naruto (I could do with it being a real relationship more often then the hit it and move on gotta collect them all porn stories though).

Though honestly I'm not a fan of it being jaraiya cause of all the time he blew not even attempting to pursue her and dicking around all over probably literally instead as he worked. I also cant think of anyone else matching her with though. I really like it being naruto and anyone else I just dont see or feels off aside from what I said of jaraiya.
