Wow, this is a vastly underrated fic. I was a bit hesitant about reading it initially because of the premise. Smoking isn’t something I typically find attractive, so I was put off by the idea of Miranda doing it. However, I decided to go ahead with it because I was really impressed by your other stories. This fic was not only technically superb but also really damn sexy. Sexy but tasteful. Probably the only time I’ll ever attribute those two words to a story that uses smoking as a focal point. Excellent job. I sincerely hope to see more Mirandy fics from you!

Really loved this story! I think you did a great job on the love scene. It was just that, a love scene, so well done! Though I will point out that if Andy has never really smoked or has only tried it once then you might want to have her either only puff on the cigarette or just let it burn once it’s lit (after only puffing to get it lit in the first place). The reason I say this is because if someone isn’t used to inhaling smoke from a cigarette they are going to have some pretty negative reactions from the very first inhale, which would more than likely will be have aborted anyway. The lungs kind of seize up making you cough at first, which is why people normally take shallow inhales at first to get use to smoking. Besides that there is the effect the nicotine has on the body once inhaled. At first most people get slightly dizzy or woozy. That doesn’t really go away until you have been smoking for a little while. So even if Andy has managed to inhale a little bit before coughing, she would then be reminded of why she didn’t like it in the first place! lol Some people give really ill after smoking just a little bit of nicotine too.

I think you convey power quiet well. I can see the slow movements of Miranda as she sucks on a cigarette and how it is a part of her body, her movement, her aura. You also conveyed the aura of passion that comes out of her when she does this very well. I think I will read it again and learn from you, you tactical mesmer.

I have found that the act of smoking is often done as a replacement for something else...based on discussions with friends who smoke, as I do not.

I was amazed when, after the 2nd cigarette, I thought I recognized this in Miranda...and then again when you confirmed it.

While I often dislike reading stories where the characters smoke...I seek smoking as a weakness...I was impressed how you used this as a way Miranda tried to have control over her perceived weakness of desiring Andy.

I gave up smoking 33 years ago... Having said that my wife would kill me if I started. Lol. Going to grsb a piece of sugar free gum and chew till it dtarts to stick to my dentures. Getting old sucks. Lol celery stick thats it. I can chew one. Or a twulizler. Nope diabetic. Sigh. Sex... Yeah my wife and I agree cuddle time.
