I'm glad you aren't bashing characters, that gets old really quick.

While your story is good, I am reluctant to follow it because of slow updates. I had to read it all over again because I couldn't remember what this fics was about. It would assure your readers if you could update frequently, atleast once a month. Hope for the best.

I really loved this chapter! Coney Island is amazing and to write it like this is even cooler.
It is especially advanced in both magic and science, not so easily explained away as canon magics. Like the fact that they share the same space, it's not just an illusion, but they might not share the same time space.
Which is why it works! Not quite like a time turner, but rather like an alternate universe, or a paradox you can easily hop in and out of, or a pocket dimmension! Pocket dimension is the most apt definition, but it is caused by the same things otherwise mentioned.
Poor Harry lol. Kid has never had anyone to be accountable to, he never even thought to tell anyone he was leaving bc why does it matter? He'll be back tonight, why do you care?
I was thinking before but totally forgot to say it in my last review, I remembered the bit with the spinning top where Harry had it continuing with concentration and magic, and it made me think of magic tricks.
Harry goes to a 'preforming arts school' so it'd be an easy assumption that he did something other than singing or acting, but magic acts rather aptly (and ironically) fits his description of what he does. I also thought it'd be a good excuse of someone brings it up again, like "show me something" when asking about his talents or lessons. A simple coin behind the ear or card trick would ordinarily not impress geniuses and master assasins, but doing it with genuine magic? Not just pretending to find the coin behind their ear, but actually banishing it into their hairjust before grabbing it? Now that's legit! Or card tricks, even if he explains them and lets the others try them to prove he's not cheating, they never get it right and he never looses!
Simple, silly things like that. Even playing with an extended bag and pulling out something SLIGHTLY too big for it, maybe the bag is just stretchy? Idk it fits when you shove it back in..
Idk. I just think that every kid knows at least one magic trick, a magical kid probably knows many more.

This is great! How long will it take for Steve to figure out the truth?

I am greatly enjoying your ddpiction of Harry in this story; I always thought that Harry needed to be a bit more weary and cautious in the books then he was. Please continue to update, I am looking forward to seeing how Hary grows having the chance at a loving family of his own.
