This was a good read! I thought you did a great job not rushing their development, and I especially think you did a good job with Draco's character. His rescue of Hermione relying on subterfuge and darkness powder, the fact he still has that self-preservation and isn't magically gryffindor-style brave, the fact he can still be entitled and whiny but is working on it... All good!

Also, the spooky elements with the introduction of the baby stuff in the attic was great.

No, Draco. It definitely can be that way, and that's a legit experience for a lot of folks, especially younger folks, but it's not "supposed" to be painful. Proper foreplay can reduce and-depending on variables-even prevent a painful first time entirely.
