Just let him die soon and put him out of his misery - he is in no position to find anything approaching happiness or contentment, and there will be no happy ending for him. A swift death is preferred indeed to a sacrifice on Albus' altar.

Amazing! I've loved reading your story very much. It is so nice. I liked the environment Harry grew in, quite different. I also liked seeing the effects being taught by Al had in his personality.

Oh, and Al... Such a great character. I grew to become very, very fond of him. Very interesting, you certainly made me care for him more than I usually do for OCs. He is technically not an OC but you know what I mean.

Unfortunately, all went downhill after his death - and before I start, please understand this is not criticism towards your story. It has been very well written up to this point.

The thing is, ever since Harry appeared in the wizarding world, I started getting depressed. One of the points I most hated in canon was the problem Harry had to deal with because of Umbridge and Fudge, two people so disgusting it is nauseous. To see Harry having such a bad welcome in the wizarding world here made me sad, you know, all the thing with people mistreating or abusing him and thinking he is a criminal... It's like reading one of those stories where Harry is miserable all over again, I just can't do it anymore. Now Harry is going to school, apparently, even though he will have almost no time left to do it... I wonder if he will have to deal with whispers and people calling him murderer to his back. It is just... Tiring for me. It's not that I don't want the protagonist to face problems, that is necessary in any story, but I had hoped his challenges would be quite different from the ones shown in the books and most fanfiction. An example is Harry almost being killed by his lover's brother, with her permission... What a strong read! I could feel the fire of his hurt and indignation with him.

Again, I'm not saying you should have written differently! You made no mistake. But I just can't help but think Harry being in a shitty wizarding world and tormented by people who want to hide Voldemort's return is a recipe I have gone through far too many times. Perhaps this will change in the next chapters and he will enjoy some good points of his fame, or live through adventures different from what is usually expected. Anyway, I wish you the best writing this story! Forgive review mistakes, it is 2:00 AM and I'm typing this with my phone in a dark room in order not to bother my sleeping roommate, heh. Bye.

Great story so far. Only thing I'm iffy on is Hermione section (with Parvati and Ron) as far as characterization goes, but I look forward to the future.

meine Review ist zwar etwas verspätet, aber dennoch. Insgesamt war das Kapitel eher mittelmäßig. Gut war zum Beispiel, dass sich Harry kurzzeitig nicht wirklich sicher ist, ob er nicht in gewisser Weise von Sirius, Megan etc. in eine gewisse Handlungsweise manipuliert wurde (wobei vermutlich Vertrauen noch ein ziemlich großes Thema sein wird), und auch Sirius' Spiegel war einfach genial (ich finde es jedes Mal lustig, wenn wieder eine neue Idee auftaucht).

Was mich nicht besonders begeistert hat, war die Umbridge Veritaserum-Szene. Obwohl Umbridge ungefähr so gehandelt hat, wie im Buch, stört es mich einfach extrem, wenn Bösewichte so unvorsichtig und... dumm... handeln. Aber wie gesagt, so hat sie sich ja auch im Buch verhalten (ich meine sie hat Harry vor Zeugen mit dem Cruciatus gedroht), also kann ich dir nicht wirklich etwas vorwerfen, sondern sollte es eher loben, dass du den Charakter der Personen relativ unverfälscht wiedergibst.

Insgesamt muss ich sagen, ich hoffe er kommt bald nach Hogwarts.
