Great chapter! I have to admit I really like the direction you're taking this story in. Harry's dealings with the Ministry in this fic are far more realistic than what I've seen in fanfiction so far.
Also, I would like to second the request: for the love of god, please don't have Harry and Hermione becoming best buddies in this fic. Too many good Independent Harry stories are ruined because of that goddamn know-it-all's interference.

I feel like Harry's too clever to be taken in by this, and how on earth will he ever trust Dumbledore after he let him be arrested? I love your story but I think this was a bad turn

Gut gelungenes Kapitel! Ich war zwar etwas überrascht, dass schon wieder eines hochgeladen wurde, da die AN des letzten Kapitels eher auf eine weitere längere Wartezeit hingedeutet hat, aber ich freue mich daher natürlich umso mehr. Harrys Reaktion war diesmal wieder sehr gut. Dass ihn das Ministerium sofort verhaftet, habe ich nicht erwartet (es kam jedoch auch nicht extrem überraschend, vor allem nachdem das Gespräch auf Voldemorts Wiederauferstehung hinauslief).

Auch Hermines und Rons Gespräch hat gut hineingepasst. Nur Snapes Verhalten gefiel mir nicht so sehr. Im Zelt schon noch, aber beim Gespräch mit Sirius, war er mir dann etwas zu Anti-Harry (Normalerweise bin ich schon jemand, der einen griesgrämigen Snape mag, aber hier hat es meiner Meinung nicht so richtig gepasst. Ich kann nicht genau sagen warum. Nicht direkt, weil er weiß, dass Harry gerade keine Ahnung hat was vor sich geht, aber vermutlich etwas in diese Richtung). Aber wie gesagt, nur etwas störend (und mach aus Snape jetzt bitte nicht, den super-netten Onkel, oder was auch immer. Mein Problem mit den meisten Snapes in anderen Geschichten ist normalerweise, dass Snape entweder gut ist und eine extreme (und schnelle) Verhaltensänderung zum positiven hat, oder dass der Leser von Anfang an weiß, dass Snape böse ist, und er damit auch durchgehend gebasht wird (ob aus seiner eigenen Sicht, oder aus anderen). (Fast) nie ist er das gute Arschloch aus dem Buch, oder der, bei dem man nie genau, weiß, ob er jetzt gut oder böse ist, was ja eigentlich das Spannende an Snapes eigentlichem Charakter und seinen Aktionen war.) Sorry, ich bin vom Thema abgekommen. Aaah… Ja.

Allgemein stört es mich, wenn eine Geschichte aus zu vielen Blickpunkten erzählt wird. Und wo diese Geschichte Anfangs nur einzelne Szenen aus anderen Blickpunkten hatte, werden sie jetzt immer mehr. Ich weiß, für den Charakteraufbau ist es einfacher, aus der Sicht eben jener Personen zu schreiben, es zieht aber (finde ich) oft die Geschichte unnötig in die Länge. Inzwischen habe ich es bei dieser Fanfiction noch nicht als problematisch empfunden, es kann aber sein, dass bald dieser Zeitpunkt erreicht ist.

Wow, eine ziemlich lange Review, dafür, dass ich Anfangs nicht wusste, was ich schreiben soll :)

I am laughing at the reactions. Good work, although I feel that the Gryffindor comment was a bit much coming from Ron.

Loved this chapter, although I'm a bit nervous for the next one. Hoped to stay at Hogwarts a little longer and not have to deal the the ministry. Can't wait for more and love how you've developed Harry!

from what i can see happening is Harry will be hated by all and continuously confused about his identity and other perceptions of him...not sure if I'll like the story going forward but the past chapters were great
