Okay, wow. Took me a while to finish reading this, but to sum up my impression of it, just wow. I don't know why, but at the beginning this kinda gave me the same kind of vibe as I got from the fics I read at the beginning of using this site, as in 2009 or something...? I don't know, this somehow had the same style, yet it somehow blended in to more of the type that I usually read these days as the story went on... well, love it anyway.

I also love "Okugi", though at first I was skeptic about how the older Kakashi having his own body to move around with would affect the story and if it'd make their little group seem too overpowered, but this turned out really well.
I love Kakashi's personal baby sitter team- ahem, the ANBU following him. The first ones especially; all honor to Hound and Cat! Hope to see them again in the sequel, too.

I like the fact that while it changes through various POVs, it still becomes clear whose POV it is pretty fast. That's something that's not always so easy.

I'm really curious to see how Orochimaru's character will develop now that he hasn't fallen nearly as low as in canon and, if he stays on Konoha's side, how much that'll change the story.
Same goes with how different Naruto will be with his parents alive, no hate from the village and no Kurama in him.
Or how different Sasuke will be without the Uchiha massacre.
And how will Sakura's attitude towards those two change due to whatever changes there will be to them.

BTW, if you do make a time skip and hop over lots of stuff, I hope that won't include Kakashi and Tenzo/Yamato meeting. He's been mentioned so many times here that cutting that out would be downright criminal lol.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing the sequel!
