What a blast from the past! It’s been decades since I’ve read the books (I have the first 22 of 24) or seen the show, but your portrayal was so spot on, I couldn’t only hear their voices in my head speaking the dialogue, I could actually see the actors in the appropriate attire! Thank you for a great story!

Good job! I liked that Illya was still Illya, with or without memories and the rapport between our two didn't take long to solidify.

Bravo, bravo! So, Mr Waverly planned ahead, and counted on the known behaviors of his top agents to get them safely away for awhile! Again, bravo! Now, that savvy Old Fox: bet he didn't clue the other Section Ones in on any details, perhaps the only reason IK was truly deprogrammed in the first place: so Waverly could play the players and salvage his best. Top notch bit of storytelling.

Man! Napoleon just read this shrink the riot act, against orders from the upper echelon, and basically threatened his very life! Might just cost Solo more than a repremand- maybe even his career. And I think this Doctor Warner likely will go through with resigning. And, it's not crazy, it's being loyal and dedicated! "Put Illya back the way you found him"- couldn't have put it any better.

Even without being totally in his own mind, Illya instinctively trusts Napoleon. Wonderful that he has such a friend.

You write very well and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The only thing I don't like was the fact that it was not finished.
