That'sMzPeachesTYVM chapter 8 . 10/16/2016 I think he's needed her all this time. I'll give it to Tanya, even if she did all she did just to keep herself in the life style she wanted, she's a smart cookie. |
PBJilly chapter 23 . 10/15/2016 Well, I adored your story. I did read the two part aftermath when you first posted it, but I felt a bit lost. The last few days I reread the entire story and now it all fits together. I really loved your characters and this story line was quite unique. I look forward to any James escapades as his adventures always made me laugh! |
That'sMzPeachesTYVM chapter 7 . 10/15/2016 Tanya knows SO much more than she has been willing to come clean about. I hope leaving her and going with Aro isn't jumping into the fire. |
That'sMzPeachesTYVM chapter 6 . 10/15/2016 What didnTanya have to do with Charlie's death? |

That'sMzPeachesTYVM chapter 4 . 10/15/2016 Poor Edward. *gigglesnort* he turned himself into a Smurf. I feel badly for Bella. What a mess. I say, toss them into the same room with Rosalie, and see how it unfolds. |

Guest chapter 5 . 10/12/2016 If they're in California, there's no smoking in restaurants, bars, or other public places. I'm just assuming, because he's a big star that he's based out of los angeles, but I could be assuming incorrectly. |
Renee Aubin chapter 22 . 10/12/2016 Yaay, I was excited to see another chapter of this story. Don’t know how the other 12 drafts looked, but this version is excellent. Interesting to open with a third person POV – don’t think you’ve done that before, have you? Emmett has always been the one with the most comprehensive picture, but not this time. Understandable: ‘…the group was scattered and that did not suit any of them after having spent so many weeks practically living in each other's pockets.’ I liked the idea that they all stayed close together in the hotel – a good use of some of Edward’s money. Good grief: ‘After Aro's statement in the hours after the shooting the press was fed a regular diet of information as a way to stop them inventing details and to halt their many and varied attempts to infiltrate the hospital. Some of the disguises were quite ingenious.’ How obnoxious that they even have to think about the press at this time. Nice: ‘[Seth] was never alone, even in the ICU. Someone was always sitting by his bed.’ It was touching how everyone made the effort to spend time with him. Shudder: ‘Emmett knew without being told that his charge would never want to set foot in that house ever again.’ This is pretty revolting when we’ve been so involved with all of them: ‘The press did not ask about the others. Something that made Emmett and Aro very angry, but they knew the game.’ And yet as a “consumer” of news I probably wouldn’t even wonder about others who might have been hurt. Good job describing how slow initial physical recovery was for everyone who had been injured. Nervewracking: ‘…she was afraid to hear Edward speak about [Charlie’s death]. Not because she didn't want to know but because she knew how horrifying it was going to be for him to have to tell it.’ Interesting too how guilty Bella feels about having being the target for bringing Jake’s craziness into all their lives. Seth handled it exactly right. Oh, good: ‘[Rosalie’s] own therapist was working with her daily to sort through her own feelings, and to help her plan how she was going to handle the group session.’ Sobering: ‘What we'd survived was a shooting. An honest to god murderer had forced his way into my home and shot me. And others.’ I can’t imagine any of them will be the same again. Good description, that they’re all “treading water” until they can meet together and share their facets of the story. Good inventory too of all the things that “nobody knows” about the outcome. Well said – it must be like this for victims of trauma: ‘I hope I can get to a place where what happened to me is just a memory. I hope I can do the work so that my brain will let me recall it when I want to and not shove it into my line of sight constantly.’ Huh, I hadn’t thought about this: ‘I've been waiting for her body to crash and burn after all that's happened. I'd been warned to check for signs of it. Depression, anxiety, physiological signs of illness over and above what we are all feeling as pain.’ ‘I let her have her space knowing that if she wanted my company she'd have asked.’ But what if she’s hesitating to ask because she doesn’t think HE wants company? It’s definitely a catch-22. Practically paralyzing to a relationship: ‘Not a word had been said between us about anything to do with her father or Jake in all the days since the shooting.’ But then I guess Rose has it right: ‘Let [Bella] deal with it any way she wanted to.’ Ouch: ‘…for the very first time since learning that I did it, I wished that I could switch to James or Rupert and escape the pain in my head and heart.’ Wow, and Edward had actively tried to make James or Rupert come back. Great final line. |
jule2 chapter 23 . 10/12/2016 Wow. Nice job. Can't wait for the epilogue |
NeeNee246 chapter 23 . 10/12/2016 FANTASTIC! :) |
MariaVB chapter 23 . 10/12/2016 I was so excited when I saw the update notice in my email for this story. I had to go back starting at chapter 16 to re-read the story so I could refresh my memory before I read the 2 new chapter and I have to tell ya that it was worth it. These 2 chapters tied up this part of the story perfectly. And I'm so glad that everyone survived. It's a toss up for what made me cry the most between Bella screaming for Emmett while in the hospital, yelling at him for shooting Jake before he could kill her so she could be with Edward, or just imagining what Edward went though the day Charlie was killed as he told his story. It was all good and so worth the wait. I can't wait for the next update and looking forward to the outtakes of Edward/James'. Thanks, Maria P.S. Someone not to long ago asked a question on face-book that if we could choose 1 FF story to be made into a movie, which one would it be? MY answer would be this one. I would so go and watch it. |
