Lol. Wonderful ending. Slightly unsure about how I feel about the coop, and slightly worried about public opinion possibly turning against them for what they did, but that ending..Kingsley getting “tragically” killed by a “tiger”...that was just pure gold. Won me over completely.

I love the triumph of this story. Especially now, when the world is doing *waves hands* all that. Seeing new charges in Minnesota was encouraging today (I’d have commented yesterday but iNtErUpTiOnS. Seeing crappy laws subverted and then destroyed is glorious. Hermione in the wand shop is great, and the short bits about Narcissa and the exiles have this sneaky power. “They should have killed Narcissa Malfoy” is great. The bit about making partisans is great. There is a lot of between the lines while being clear that feels cheeky and subtle and smart and fun. I’m glad you wrote this.

I love the Department of Mysteries bit almost as much as the ending. S. Both of them.

Best political take over in all of fiction. And the tiger metaphor you highlighted and then used shamelessly was just perfect too. The bureaucrats not caring about the coup! The Unspeakables super not caring! It was all so funny and perfect! Even the two sentence epilogue which really, really shouldn't be funny but absolutely is.

it's funny how harry and neville were considering becoming minister here and both turned it down. in a marauder's plan (that's what i read before this), they both take high positions each in their own place in wizarding britain (in case you haven't read it yet i will not specify). i never would have thought of draco becoming minister but then he was raised to be someone in a high position. the plan was brilliant! again i would like to reiterate that i love dumbledore's army. i hate that fred is dead here because this follows canon but still. they're all as together as they can be. congratulations to the new minister and new regime. sad to see kingsley dead as he was part of the light side in canon but i will never have forgiven such a part in executing the protective custody act. i never really liked narcissa but i do believe i understand that she'll do anything for her son. mothers. go figure.

i hate the fact that the regular citizens didn't know that the ministry is detaining children. actual children. this is like our government. on the verge of martial law right now. i hate it. but then the coup happened and all will be well. i guess there's no point in dwelling in the wrongs of the past. they will be corrected now. hopefully, sooner rather than later. justice served.

dolores umbridge. if i had my way i wouldn't have crucio-ed her immediately. something like the ways of the carrows would be in order first. and then, crucio. let her bleed. feel pain. slowly. maybe i would have used her quill on her. all over her body. till the room reeks of her blood. maybe i would have thrown her to the territory of the centaurs in the forbidden forest again. who knows. but she's dead. and that means is a compromise i'm forced to accept.
