Wonderful chapter. Especially the scientific part. Im looking forward to how you're going to connect magic to science, beside magic being the energy. But if so, what is the soul of? Obviously, it is a different entity physically or material-wise if you like and it is not magic as that is energy, right? Or is it like light and can be taken both as energy and matter? But than the energy form would govern the patterns and movements of the matter form? Or is the soul only energy?

I'm glad they meet Luna, but I'm sad that she seems broken, but I can see why. Awesome display of intent based magic with the dragon. I like that he hears pheonix song when he uses his staff, nice touch. Thanks for all the updates

Harry has to run into Luna at some time. I wonder what his sight would get from her and whey theories the two could come up with. I think this hermione would eventually get along well with her. I love the description of Hogwarts and Harry's view of it, makes it seem more magical

Well this is rather interesting I have to say. Though I would question whether or not a dementor can truly prevent a soul from moving to the afterlife forever. If a dementor could die then the souls would be freed.

Then again Rowling said Dementors can't be killed I believe, or can't they? Maybe magic doesn't work against them but a good solid muggle weapon would do wonders I think.

I really enjoy this story thus far, it's an interesting point of view that hasn't been done often. That being said, if you haven't please check out the book series "The Lost Years of Merlin". Emrys, aka Merlin is the main character, who in a tragic childhood accident involving magic, looses his sight, but regains a portion of it using magic. Then, when he goes to a place where magic is imbued in everything, he can see like he almost never could before, inclusing some things normal people can't. Oh and he also wields a staff with runic markings, has a female companion, and a dark lord after him.

Seriously, its a great read, much like your stories!

What a great story. I can think of one other blind harry story, but this one is far and away more creative and interesting. He isn't over powered, just kind of sherlock holmes ish it seems. Thanks for writing.
