This seems like a great story.

Shirou's job is going to be a janitor isn't it. I am okay with this.

Lost it at Dr. Seuss. Honestly, the only way to get good OC's on most stories are one's that 'take in' the main character, villains with a good build-up, brothers and sisters...very few ways unless you are DAMN good at writing.

I wholeheartedly agree with you with Shirou copying the unique weapons, but I doubt they would be able to fire since he is incapable of tracing modern firearms...well...maybe he can since they technically became a melee weapon...hmm...someone! Consult the Nasuverse theorists!

It would be PRETTY OP if he could copy them and they are able to shoot. It's gonna be Unlimited Bullet Works...

I can already imagine their reactions when they are disarmed and suddenly Shirou just pops out their weapons.

You've got your own small spin on the characters which makes them unique but still fit into the image of their character concepts.

And I also agree with your author notes, i dislikes overpowered characters and isn't a big fan of main character OCs.
Don't get me wrong though, main character OCs is fine, but I don't like it when they're weren't fleshed out right, two-dimensional characters degrade the stories as whole.

But I digress, aside from few spelling errors, this is a pretty good chapter! Although Shirou is a bit of "Mind of Steel"-ish (I am not sure if he'd actually would kill someone to hide his magecrafts), but I don't mind, it is not that big of a deal imo.

I do have a small question though, aura is the manifestion of a soul, while magic circuits lies in the soul itself, will Shirou use aura or will he won't be able to use it?

Damn man, the story and individual author's notes make me quiver in anticipation for more of this story. Also, great job, the Fake Janitor shall never die! I can't wait for what you have in store for Shirou. Shirou as a student/teacher etc. has been done sorta in the RWBY universe, so this combo of him as student/janitor will be great. Keep up the great work author.

Though I find Shirou's first thought on people discovering his magecraft is to kill them wrong even for UBW Shirou. His fight with Archer was a reaffirmation of his ideals to save people so its very jarring. He should be panicking and looking for alternative ways to explain. Instead, you wrote Shirou's first thought was to kill. This kind of thought process only applies to Mind of Steel Shirou.
