![]() ![]() Love this 3 is really goood |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aww, the waffling of Blaise's thoughts prior to speaking to Sally was cute... poor boy. ;p |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nicely done. I love how Sally is just doing her thing in potions, while the snakes clamor for seats behind her in order to earn better grades by copying her... too funny. That she had the troll situation under control, until Harry and Ron mucked things up, was cool. I love this story. D |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sally being corrected on the firmness of her grip (due to the deathtraps that brooms were back in her day) had me chuckling. :-) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I got a chuckle out of the founders' portraits reaction to ally-the-younger. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I got a kick out of the passcode being an insult to her uncle, whose ugly monkey face is guarding the school's guardian. Aww, the interaction between Sal and Esmeralda was so sweet. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I got a laugh out of how the goblins were avoiding Hermione when she was with her parents. .-.-. F.Y.I. - error found needing correction: "Her father signed fondly." ["signed" ought to be "sighed"] |
![]() ![]() ![]() It was smart on his part to have set things aside for his usage in the future. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like how Hermione merged her name with her previous incarnation's name. :-) |
![]() ![]() ![]() You are the best! Have made a lot of this year exciting for me. Thank you! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Such a wonderful tale! The plotting, the strategy, the twists...just lovely. I thought Cassius had his Mark removed? And, oh! what a place Malfoy has reserved for himself...how is he to get out of this one? Anticipating your return with year 5 quite virtuously and patiently, ~TA |
![]() ![]() ![]() Time-turner, I bet. Used her animagus form to hide before reappearing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hermione has the perfect alibi if she disappears from the Map suddenly. She can just say she has a Time Turner, and that’s why. Though there will be questions about why she’s using it when it isn’t to get to lessons, especially if it happens at night. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Fact: The so called "renaissance era" was one of severe stagnation and religious dogma. While medieval times was one of great developments and progress. The claim about the renaissance being something to look up to and the previous time the opposite, was started by one single poet. Because obviously, any time before his works were published had to be dark, dreary and terrible indeed. Of course, nowadays, the name of said poet and his works are essentially unknown because he was barely mediocre. He's on wikipedia if you look enough though. A good example of the differences is how if you ask the question "how many angels are there", in medieval times that would be a strictly religious question, however, during the sad state of the renaissance, odds are better than even that such a thing would end up considered a SCIENTIFIC question. Sure, the time resulted in a fair amount of notable art, but in just about every other way, it was very inferior to medieval times. Of course, the cause for this severe regression is obvious, with how the black plague killed off at least 1/3 of the population in Europe, with some estimates as high as more than 1/2 has been made with decent support even, being the very clear divider between the eras. It wasn't until the 18th century that the population was definitely back to what it was during high medieval times, and not until 19th century that as much land was farmed again. Also, the term "renaissance" refers to how the time was focused on reviving classical, pre-medieval works, mostly Greek, and a great deal of focus on the perceived classical ideals and ideas(they didn't really have a clue about the real thing, so it included far more guessing than anything else). |
![]() ![]() ![]() Any specific reason to add the extremely non-canon "senate"? |
