I feel like poor Ryuishi deserves any and all advantages you can give her, so long as they're more or less plausible. Like glasses. There are plenty of Naruto characters that get glasses. She could totally have her own. Just, you know, not in Mist. At least not right now.

It didn't feel rushed to me. Fast-paced, yeah, but not unreasonably so. Obviously I can't tell you how to feel about things, but I feel like the pacing on this chapter probably didn't bother any of your readers.

I don't think it's rough, it's a side scene. Like still is part of the story but it's more to get you to understand the characters than to continue the story. I like their relationship, I really fear the moment that Ryuishi starts getting hit on. Can you see how possessive Zabuza would be?

I don't think it's Mary Sue at all. Ryuishi has been chilling about contemplating the world she's in. She's bound to have picked up a thing or two. I like her relationship w/Zabuza. Their closest relationship seems to be with one another in a way thats like, nobody else can keep up so I GUESS you'll do.

Hiding things in plain sight is her secret skill. It's so unexpected but I love it? The amount of food she keeps on her person is both sad and amusing.

I can sort of feel why you are unhappy with the chapter, but it is still a good one. With interesting revelations and plot development.

There is no such thing as Mary Sues. Only bad writing. You're writing isn't bad, no worries at all! Please, keep up the good work. :)

Holy shit Mist fucks everyone up so much. A job depicting an absolutely miserable country purposefully and systematically destroying itself. Also Ryuishi cuddling Zabuza for heat is part weirdly kinda adorable and part just sad and I love it.
